Re: Archuleta traded to Bears for 6th round pick
Wow.
Having the Bears take his contract off our books is a huge favor. Throwing in a draft pick is a bonus. Good work, front offiice. You're forgiven for signing him. Seriously though, who could've predicted him turning from a weightroom monster to a marshmallow Peep after putting the burgandy and gold on? We WERE all excited when we signed him, helped by all of the articles about his work ethic and physique. I'm glad this is over with. I wish him good luck, except for against us. |

This has gotta be a record time on any forum anywhere that 10 pages have been reached.

We're only on page 4 for me. I like this forum setting better, less clicking. :)

And apparently neither can AA. |

Re: Archuleta traded to Bears for 6th round pick
PP is a nice guy who cant start at safety in the NFL....please dont argue this point because hes spent 9 years in the league and never started plus he tore his acl last year meaning he wont be 100 percent until a year for now, its a two year injury....ARCH is gone and his money with him (we hope). SO NOW WE DRAFT LANDRY WITH 6 OR 8 which ever we have come draft day.
There is no way they use a top pick on a safety. The have Stoutmire and PP. One of them is going to have to get the job done. |
Re: Arch traded
6th is about what we should have expected for him.....
Worst FA Blunder maybe ever for the Washington Redskins, just a stupid ass signing with Sean Taylor already here. I honestly think Archuletta will be a impact player next season now that he's in Chicago.
Could be one of the worst blunders in NFL history. Right up there with Scott Mitchell to the Lions. I'd put it in the top five easy. |

Re: Archuleta traded to Bears for 6th round pick
The real question now is, When does AA run to ESPN and whine and bitch about how terrible he was treated?
I think given his history of (supposed) bitching to sportswriters... we'll see some backlash for this one. EDIT: didn't see this http://www.thewarpath.net/redskins-locker-room/17526-whats-arch-gonna-say.html |
We ought to draft a saftey with that 6th pick. He can do any worse then Arch.
That may not be the worst idea. There is an absolute stud from LSU that should be on the board at # 6. Best safety since ST on the board. Bears also picked up AA's 5 million guaranteed money he was due this year along with the 6th round pick. Bears let Jones go and now do this? They are making some weird moves..... I WAS WRONG ON THIS ONE GUYS!! AA is history and time to finally move on. |

I would love that and would think that this is the move of the year if the Bears actually did that. |
