I believe Pete's dad died in an American Airlines crash

Very cool episode. Despite his overbearing personality, Pete's always held Don in the highest regard. On one hand, he's following in the steps of early Don ... Once Pete turned partner, he's been slowly settling in a new skin. On the other hand, he maintains a very naive perception of Don ("I'm not as virtuous as you, so you leave me in the wind?"). It's one part professional adoration, one part yearning father figure.

Loved the Cosgrove voiceover to end the episode. The brilliant prose not only showcased the character's talent, but also punctuated Pete's emptiness in a creative way.

This episode was interesting... Roger's trip was hilarious. And my my, Peggy sure is a handful.

Yeah, I think I've set aside a little space for some Jane (Trudy's going to be mad haha). She was beyond hot in this ep. Roger is a maroon! All the guys on this show are maroons for the women they toss.

Didn't realize it but she grew up in Baltimore.

Roger's BJ from Meghan's mom was classic.

Roger is slowly beating out Draper for best character. Dudes hilarious.

What'd everyone think? Pretty heavy turns, but I loved the female spectrum represented by Joan, Peggy and Megan.

Honestly, that was one of the best episodes of Mad Men ever for me. Everything about it was fantastic. I've liked this season a lot, but I didn't think there were any episodes that I would necessarily call "gripping;" until this one, I absolutely couldn't look away.

Fantastic episode. Still trying to see where they're going with Lane. His advice to Joan was certainly self-serving. I was, of course, disappointed in Joan's decision but I suppose it was to take care of her kid. And I suspect to not depend on Roger anymore. I thought Roger was a bit of a coward too with the "I won't like it, but I won't do anything to stop it"

I'm interested to see how they integrate Peggy's new work into the story lines.

It was nice to see tinkle pants back.

The scene when Peggy quit was just so intense. It is what you wish would happen when you quit a job. Don was so blind sided by it he was literately in shock.

On a side note after seeing Peggy's salary number I wish I could take my current salary and transport back to the 60's, I be King of the Hill!

They should add Joan's name to the building to spite Campbell. Sterling Cooper Draper Price Holloway

It's pretty incredible how composed Peggy remained after getting that cash thrown in her face. Her reaction is a testament to how highly she looks up to him... and her departure came full circle. Peggy is exactly the monster (not in a bad way) he created.
