Maryland general assembly is discussing legalization of marijuana today. Opponents are calling it a gateway drug. To be honest I think alcohol and caffeine are bigger gateways and have more adverse health effects.

There used to be a commercial series with a teenage kid with catch line "Dude your getting a Dell!" He got busted for pot and the commercials ceased. It started the joke that "marijuana obviously isn't a Gateway drug it's a Dell drug"
