Me, Tim and someone else were hanging out along the stairs chatting about the previous day's games when he made some comment about the Redskins QB (think it was Campbell) who had just had a terrible day when he teased him with some " yeah we're all really missing your 0 passer rating days with us" he didn't take to kindly to that...at all. Not sure he ever spoke to me again
Sorry, meant to say when I teased him |
Re: Around the NFL Preseason week 3
Russel will be a good QB, but I don't see how Matt Flynn will just gladly be the backup in seattle, and No seattle will not win the west over San Fran

I think sf is over rated a bit, this is still a QB league last I checked and they have a very avg passing game. Don't fall in love with them over one year. |
Re: Around the NFL Preseason week 3
Man, if this rumor that the Colts are sending Freeney and a 3rd for Welker is true

A 3RD?? What?! Why would you give up that much? And why are the pats going to trade Brady's favorite target? They must have a lot of faith in Brandon Lloyd. Sure Brady has the 2 good TEs, but those guys aren't the deep threat speedsters or great route runners like Wes is...bad move for the pats. Plus why would the pats want ANOTHER pass rusher, they like Chandler jones, do they not? And they drafted Hightower to be an edge rusher on 3rd downs...ok so they don't really have pass rushers, but still, dwight is moving from a 4-3 to a 3-4...or will the pats stay at a 4-3? Well if he stays in a 3-4, he's out of place and its a possible wasted draft. Both Freeney and Welker are great players and both are about the same edge, maybe a 2 year difference, so again, why the 3rd? |
Re: Around the NFL Preseason week 3
the pats will trade anyone, especially someone that wants to be paid (and isn't tom brady).

LOLLLLL wow. That must've been an awkward moment for him. |
Re: Around the NFL Preseason week 3
The thing is we did it all the time with players, because I mean a lot of so so former players become analysts. And I mean we all know even the most humdrum NFL QBs are still amazing QBs. But they all laugh and joke about it too. Like Dilfer is hilarious about it. Not Tim though, not that day. I mean I was only kidding but he went Sammy Baugh Fan on me
