Exactly!! Oh no wait, it was "the genius" who was ranked as the second greatest NFL coach by ESPN, despite getting abused by Parcells in that era.

ummmmm, I can see NE running all their division games, and maybe 4 or 5 more. Thats 11 wins and playoffs there. Tom Brady is one of the greatest of all time. Losing a posession receiver won't be the death of him, trust me. I remember people thinking he would take a step back when moss left, and then he had better numbers the next season.

They will be fine, and will win their division, bar none. There is no team in that division that can compete.
Poor Brady. He doesn't have his elite receiving squad anymore. In hindsight, I'm sure the Pats are kicking themselves for letting Welker go.

Someone on this board(CRedskinsRule?)asked if this was the year NE faltered. It's starting to look that way. No good receivers are a lock to play this season except for Amendola, and Danny Woodhead's gone. If their defense isn't better than last season, I can't see them finishing above 9-7.
The Pats Super Bowl wins weren't about WRs.

Great CHFF article:

The reality is this folks: New England’s fortunes have NOTHING to do with who plays slot receiver in 2013 or beyond. New England’s fortunes have EVERYTHING to do with finding a shutdown corner and pass rusher – two championship building blocks that the team has miserably failed to find for nearly a decade now.

I hope his ass goes to prison for a long time. Too much evidence shows that he's guilty.

Can you tell me his side of the story?

Although things look very fishy, it is way too early to pronounce him guilty. We haven't heard his take yet.

His side:

"OH $#!&, I better destroy my home security system and my phone and hire a cleaning crew to hide this!"

I can tell you that if you have nothing to hide, you don't destroy your surveillance system, cell phone and hire a cleaning crew the next morning. Gun shots were heard outside his house the morning the guy was killed. The rental car in his name was found near the scene of the crime, which was less than a mile away from his home.

Whether Hernandez killed him or not, he had something major to do with this murder, and therefore should be in prison for killing or aiding in the killing of his friend. Simple as that.

This.

Let the process play out.

Man, people suck up to the Patriots so much. I'm sure they will be fine this season, just pointing out some things that are different (including a HUGE scandal) and will make it harder for them to run up the score on teams like in previous year. If they win fine, if they lose, I won't be losing any sleep over it.

So you haven't heard his side of the story yet you are still pronouncing him guilty.

He's definitely guilty of something related to the murder investigation. The DAs office would not have asked a judge to issue am arrest warrant for such a high profile public figure otherwise. Given the delay between the warrant allegedly being issued and the arrest being executed, coupled with the manner in which e arrest was carried out, means he's guilty if something
