What did he do at midfield before the game? Only was able to watch the 2nd half. Thanks.
He was doing some weird dance looking up at the sky. Totally playing up to the cameras. Just acting like a fake bitch. |
Re: Around the NFL…Week 1 Style
Hackett looked totally in over his head. Just a terrible call going for a 64 yarder.

Does Justin Tucker play for Denver now? |

I took it as he was saying they should not have kicked it? |

Exactly. Why would you attempt a 64 yarder with anyone but Tucker |
Re: Around the NFL…Week 1 Style
The Dallas Cowboys are the ONLY team in the NFL who did not score a touchdown in Week 1.
The only one. |

The only one.
Plus they are in sole possession of last place in our division. Ah, it was such a beautiful opening week! |
Re: Around the NFL…Week 1 Style
So Russ had two NFC East teams courting him (Eagles and Washington), where he'd would have instantly made them division favorites, and who showed a lot of offensive firepower in wins this weekend. Yet he goes to a loaded AFC West, where his new coach opted to kick a 64-yard field goal, instead of letting him convert 4th and 5.
That decision was so wrong in so many ways, not the least of which were that it surely alienated his QB and violated any trust he had built with the rest of his team. I assume the fans are hating on him now, as well. |

The last three sentences of this piece are priceless

Gotcha. |
Re: Around the NFL…Week 1 Style
Hurts will make some inaccurate throws every now and then, but he can make some real pretty ones too. And he seems to be developing a good connection with AJ Brown, who makes some tough catches. Tough to stop offense IMO.
Surprised by how easily the Lions ran the ball on them though. For all the talk about our D underperforming its talent lecel, doesn't it feel like the Eagles have had a solid defensive roster for a few years and yet not really delivered on this side of the ball ?
