giants probably go WR or take back 7 depth (jennings, youboty, j williams)

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

If Justice makes it to 33, do the Texans take him?

That Guy 04-29-2006 04:51 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

j williams is a decent fit here too...

j williams and jusstice are the best left right now.

i'm shocked at the lack of OT picks... most years people stretch for them, but not in 2006...

Which they obviously don't.

Trading up for Jason Babin
Picking Mario Willams.

Not as bad as Buffalo though, thats a whole nother level of suck

LMAO. JERRY JONES SAYS U CAN't USE A 1ST ROUND PICK ON A gUY WITH CHARACTER ISSUES

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

i wish we would package our 2nd round pick with something like a 5th or a 6th to move up in the 2nd round to get lendale white if he is still around at pick 40

i wouldn't. he has character issues and we're set at rb right now. OG, LB, CB are much bigger needs... or even another TE.

How sweat would it be if Jimmy Williams fell to us?

Big C 04-29-2006 05:00 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

wow i cant believe jimmy williams hasnt gone yet! forgot about him too! he was supposed to be a very high pick!!!!! package some picks to get him!!!!!!!

That Guy 04-29-2006 05:01 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

jenning isn't a reach, but better players were available for them (i thought they'd sign law guess not now..)

Dirtbag59 04-29-2006 05:01 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

Good pick but they didn't need him

That Guy 04-29-2006 05:01 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

MK?? i guess to replace strahan, but man, that's a big reach (MK = mid 2nd), and WR is a huge need.

Justin Tuck becomes the most enfuriated man in the NFL...

BigSKINBauer 04-29-2006 05:02 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

yeah, the giant DEs suck, they really needed that.:laughing-

THey should have taken moss or chad jackson. That would actually scare me

its all about value. he would be a great value pick in the 2nd round. also, i believe betts is a FA after this season! lendale white and jimmy williams have both slipped into the 2nd round, if we could only have to give up our 2nd round pick with a low round draft choice to get one of these guys, it would be immense. plus, i dont really buy all these character issues with lendale white

wonder whats going on in Coach Gibbs', Williams', Cerato's and Snyder's minds now.. i would love to hear the conversation that is going on between them ... anyone have their phones tapped?

i do, and value may be there, but need isnt. white and williams want to start. why pay someone not to play? williams is NOT a CB in the nfl.

with strahan and umenyiora, why go with another DE? they could have used justice, j williams, and a WR more

Look at the big picture. the Giants made a bad pick the Redskins are better off.

no hes not. but he CAN play CB in nickle, and CAN play safety. a great versatile player and excellent value. white would be better than betts, who i can see leaving at the end of the season, and everyone's obscession with nemo is confusing to me

cause the RB they wanted (maroney) was gone already. i agree c jackson would have been a better pick though... oh well, at least they got a 3rd an 4th out of the steelers and took a player that won't play.

i agree with that, but i just don't think white is the best player that'll be available to us. I'm just not a fan of his.

ryans is a good pick, but they passed over a couple top 15 picks they could have used.
Guy. Who we gonna pick?
depends who's left. richard marshall might still be there... he'd be a steal. jon alston or d'qwell too. howard or mcintosh may be there, but i don't like them as much. charles spencer is a favorite of mine too, but the chance of the skins taking him is almost nil.
