I am pretty happy with how the second and third teamers looked tonight. They were ready to play all around.

Much better effort from the players and coaches!

Chase had a good showing tonight. nice runs and a good lob to Marko.

It's not all that surprising to me that the Redskins are much better and deeper on both lines than the Steelers, but if you take one thing away from the game tonight, make it that. The receiver and coverage play is in need of improvement, but Marko Mitchell is a bright spot, and Kevin Barnes was much better tonight.

A major improvement over game #1, as long as we stay healthy we will be in good shape vs the Giants in week one. I do hope they give Chase a lot of playing time here on out. Would hate to see them toss away the future just because he is not as big as Brennan. I think they will keep him around so once Collins and/ or Campbell go they can bring him in.

When was the last time we actually ran a fade in the End Zone and had a receiver who could go up and get it? Hackett better step it up or he won't make the cut.

Chase had a good game, but i think he will need more than 1 good game to make the roster. True he didnt play last week but he has to raise his play next week for that to be an issue.

Yeah, we do have some nice prospects. The improvement showed that game #1 was just that and we just had to shake some rust off. If we play like this the rest of preseason we will do well when the games count.

Regardless of the competition he faced, I just like his mechanics better -- accurate, quick release, quick decision-making, and he can run.

I say play the hell out of Chase though. You have to see what he can do. If he doesn't make the team he better make the practice squad. JC and/or Collins is going to go bye bye soon and Brennan still is a big ?. Unless we really suck this season we are not going to get Colt or Bradford next draft and you will need a new #2 or 3 soon.

jc is already the starter, I think that we know that we have vet leadership in collins

you definitely have to let chase and colt duke it out

qb is definitely a question in the next couple of years, whether campbell works out or not

no matter how good our offense can look there's not really any position there we don't have to be pretty concerned about in the next 2-3 years save tight end

Barnes really moved well to break up a pass, im not sure if it was the 3rd of 4th quarter but he showed really fluid hips to make the move
