What is the deal with everyone calling him Fatal Bert now? I thought that was someone's horrible spelling error at first but now it's evolved into his nickname? This trend needs to be killed faster than the "werewolves" scene.

Actually that's probably why Haynesworth want's to leave. With all the talent on this team Haynesworth is probably looking at the fact that the Redskins are going to have to play in at least one extra game this year. Maybe even three or four if we're lucky. In Seattle he won't have that problem, unless of course...you know...Whitehurst starts.

Nothing lately. I mean I've heard several teams mentioned (Titans, Jaguars, Vikings, Lions, Seahawks), but haven't heard that that's anything more than speculation right now or that the Redskins are interested in talking to any of those teams

Thanks for the update...I really would like a move at this point or for him to show up to camp, acknowledge his mistake and recommit himself to the team. I get the feeling the latter aint gonna happen. But the longer he doesnt show and participate, the bigger the distraction will become cause the media isnt gonna let it go.

That ain't gonna happen.

I check the internet every day hoping to see that he has been traded or cut. Things are so positive with the team right now that my gut feeling is that I don't want to see him anywhere near the other players, regardless of his talent.

But the real question is, will having AH on the team help us to win more games than we would without him? If so, then I must be wrong and we should keep him, even if he is a big pain in the ass. If not, then there is no reason to keep him around.

If that guy came back, took it on his shoulders to play to his best this year in Haslett's D, however he is asked to play - then ABSOLUTELY he would help us win more games, by going 4-3 on critical 3rd and 1's or 4th and short. BUT, can he do that, at this point, I think we all expect he can't/won't

Yeah I think you're right. I remember seeing that thread and I'm pretty sure it still gets brought up regularly. Some guy was like paloffs is now! (playoffs is now) back in the heat of the regular season in either 07 or 05 and now it's the cool way to say playoffs.
