Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
It's funny that as much as the term "football shape" was on Redskins news, people are not concerned about the toll that Jackson's hold out has on his "football shape". Case in point, Darrelle Revis, probably the best CB in the league, seems to have been sidelined by a hamstring injury. Many speculate that Revis' issues may stem from not being at camp and getting his body in football shape.
After tonight's massive air attack, I don't think we have much of a WR issue. Definitely not worth paying the price that it will cost to get this guy. So I think this issue is pretty much dead.
It wasn't a hamstring injury. He simply suffered a bruised ego on the Moss TD reception. I personally found it hilarious when I learned that not only did he leave the game after pulling a "hamstring" but it happened during that play. Obviously thats why you don't talk trash like that. Any other day the whole world would have given Revis the benefit of the doubt, now it looks like he couldn't live up to covering a slouch. Everyone saw the built in excuse coming from a mile away. I just never thought he would cash it in. |

Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
If the Vikings get Jackson,we will have the honor of facing Vincent Jackson,Sidney Rice,Percy Harvin,Bernard Berrian,Greg Camarillo and Greg lewis.
It might look a lot like last nights game,if we can't cover them. |
Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
Rice is done for the year, Harvin is obviously not healthy, Camarillo and Lewis are just warm bodies for the depth chart. Right now, Old man Berrian is their only effective WR.
That's why they're considering V-Jax. |
Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
well, i for one hope we pull something out our ass to get him here
Jax that is |

3-way trade

I gotta agree with Sir Clinton here Ace, you must smoke some good stuff for some of the trade scenarios you have came up with. I don't mean to bash ya, but you don't have to post every crazy trade scenario you can come up with!

Team "Perfection" Aaron Rodgers Miles Austin Reggie Wayne Wes Welker Jahvid Best Arian Foster Chris Cooley Mason Crosby
Sounds great to me. Let's make a 7-way trade! We'll give up Heyer, Sellers, Austin, Horton, Bryant, our #5 in 2012, and our #7 in 2018! |
Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
I was kidding guys...
But even my dumb trade scenarios sometimes have merit... OK...Jacobs going to S.D. was dumb...I just threw that against then wall and hoped it stuck for funny... But Albert going to the Giants isn't so dumb... Remember..They were 1 of 2 teams willing to shell out the 100 million for Fat Al AND they run the 4-3... But I was joking so please relax...lol |

I agree....it would be dumb to trade him within the division which is why I was kidding I'm still giving Igglephans crap for trading McNabb... Even if the giants were our only partner an offered the most...I would trade him to the titans for less, just so we don't face him. Cause I agree with you...he's goes somewhere else and instantly becomes a hall of famer... that's how it works when we let guys go..lol |
Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
Thanks but no thanks. We have a QB now, we don't need to cover up our passing game with big name receivers.
Yeah I agree/disagree. After the way Andre Johnson silenced 92K people at fedex field, it be nice to have a huge target with fantastic hands. I still am shocked BAllen wouldnt go after Boldin in the offseason. I could only imagine having a big WR to allow Moss to do what he does. But if a 2nd rounder was too much for Boldin then why would we give MORE for VJackson? For this year at least we will utilize and take advantage of having a QB with a brain/experience to spread the ball. But we must PURGE Vinny out of this organization that means next year we DO need a big WR b/c Thomas/Kelly clearly left us unable to compete. |

Man up, dude, man up.
OK..I'll man up Would the Giants take Haynesworth at a reasonable price and be suitable for what they would want to do as they currently run a 4-3 Defense...and have they shown interest in him before? yes Would I want the Redskins to actually make the trade to a divisional opponent, only to watch him stuff our already weak running game and watch another redskins player move on for success like many before him....and regret trading him like the eagles will by the end of the season trading McNabb to the Redskins? No I guess if that means I need to man up Lotus, then there you have it bud!:food-smil I've manned up... |

How did they build up and have kept up their receiver corp, O-line, D-line? Through the draft. You and Snyder circa 2000 are twins. |

All we have to do is keep Fat Al on the field longer then 9 plays and he is either a non factor or he lays on the field then takes a play off. So the strategy would be to pass, pass, pass/ pass, pass, run(AH is tired)/ run(AH is tired), run(AH on sideline), pass/ pass, run(AH is tired), pass. lol. |
Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
Is there any word on VJ? The Chargers have until 4pm tomorrow(Wed).
|

VJ to Vikings is almost done according to ESPN Radio Dallas this morning.
|
Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
Redskins have jumped in the bidding war according to some twitters
I don't know what's true and what isn't anymore... For all we know, the falcons will step in last minute and snatch him up...lol Isn't that how it works usually..lol |

Best to stay away from Twitter if you're trying to stay grounded in reality. Or at least just follow the credible sources.

Oh noooo. Madden will be so much harder for us Redskin fans. whatever will I do when I look at our pass catchers and see no one rated over 90. Ohhh no. |
Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
^ thats pretty funny, but the difference between VJ and our receivers is that on that 3rd down play when McNabb bombed it to Galloway, VJ makes that catch, and we win the game, Galloway doesn't because he doesn't have that long of arms.
