ATV comes with the disclaimer - "Caution: Not actually suitable for all terrains as bumps and hard knocks can result in minor structural damage. Major structural damage may also occur requiring extensive time in the repair shop. Not to be used as a primary vehicle." |

I like Torain and M. Kelly, but I dont want them on the team if they are gonna be constantly on the sideline nursing injuries. Dont care how good of guys they are, if we are rebuidling those roster spots need to be given to other to develop and show what they got. |
Re: Training camp 2011 thread
Tough break for Torain. So did he bang his hand on a helmet or something?
I know he's got the injury prone label, but something like that can happen to anyone. |

Kelly has more of a problem in that he didn't really convince anyone he was much of an nfl starter w/the chances he got. He's now in his 4th year so even missing a year on IR he'll be expected to produce. Torain on the other hand (no pun intended) was our best rb last year & is the presumed starter this year. Even if he only plays 50% of the games, at least they know what they can get out of him. He could be our new 50/50! I think the jury is out on whether Kelly can consistently get open & be a decent wr. He may have to become a career slot reciever. Overall, both of these guys could be cut if they're not healthy at the time of final cuts. Both aren't good enough to wait too long on. I wouldn't be surprised to see both cut, but I think Torain is much less likely. |
Re: Training camp 2011 thread
RB is a brutal position. They take a beating. I hope he recovers soon.
|
Re: Training camp 2011 thread
Speaking of Kelly, I hope he only got a portion of his payment cause otherwise he should pay some back. How are you going to get drafted, get a decent contract, then not be on the field for 3 yrs getting paid?
It's time to man up and play or get lost. |

Hand injury, but we can't make anything out of this and blame ATV for being injury-prone in this case...he hasn't had a history of freak broken hand incidents. If it were his knee, sure, then we could be worried. He'll be fine to be the starter in Week 1. |
Re: Training camp 2011 thread
Anybody know how well is Lorenzo playing? I know he won't be starter, but I'm curious to see how well he's playing as LB now that he's down to 255ish pounds.

Im sure its not his personal choice to miss game after game for injury. Nor Kelly. For being the starter week 1, that not close to being a done deal by a long shot...especially with another injury setback. |
Re: Training camp 2011 thread
Redskins store is now carrying Brandon Banks' jersey. They weren't before.
Pretty sure that means he's a roster lock. |

No no no. It's suitable for that, maybe even perfect, however only the last sentence is true. |
Re: Training camp 2011 thread
wow that would suck if Shannahan cut him haha

Re: Training camp 2011 thread
So the new FA acquisitions have to wait on the side while the CBA is ratified...

McNabb's first pass is low to Shiancoe and ends up on ground. Fans moan. Calm down. #stribkato

Meeting with Redskins was today but no word yet. I'm guessing a 6 year, $60 million deal. Guaranteed. |

Ahhh, I see. Another one that can't handle the dragon. Guess we shouldn't blame him to much. Not many are capable of taking on the fire breathing beast. |

Isn't this guy about done? He doesn't have the use of his knees. It's kind of hard to play football at a high level when this is the case. |
