I might go: G S T CB ILB/DL/OL
I like this. Even if Moses pans out we need such depth on the right side of that line. Just out of curiosity, what if there is a really good qb available? Im assuming there will be in the first five picks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Skins vs. Colts Gameday Thread
RT better be the number 1 pick
but now we need a QB so as usual this franchise is a dumpster fire! Fire Bruce and sell the team Danny!!! |

Another week, and another Redskins loss. What's new in your part of the world?

Not sure who that is - easier said than done. |
Re: Skins vs. Colts Gameday Thread
The Redskins should change their name to "Dumpster Fires", one thing we could probably all agree on.

Re: Skins vs. Colts Gameday Thread
Every draft pick should be an o linemen or secondary player, can't go wrong either way. Even if its 7 of one and 0 of the other it would be ok by me.

Agreed. They have got to be two of the most glaring weaknesses any team has ever showcased. My God. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Skins vs. Colts Gameday Thread
The list of FA/draft needs right now begins at safety. Then defensive line, offensive line, outside linebacker, corner, and inside linebacker.
QB is a big need, too, but we need to improve the offensive line before drafting a QB. |
Re: Skins vs. Colts Gameday Thread
Glad I left the house mid way through the 3rd. Heard it went south fast
Haslet has to go |

Re: Skins vs. Colts Gameday Thread
Personally, my assessment....
The O-Line looked like Shit...the Defense also looking like crap...the ONLY good to come out of this game is that Colt McCoy is a gamer...no he did not play great, but he played a hell of a lot better than both RG 3 and Kirk Cousin! Also, I agree with some of the comments this week on both for the local media and this excellent forum...no Colt McCoy is not the perminate answer, but he, at the very least can be the answer for this season and the next if necessary...what the Redskins desperately need is an Offensive Line and decent DB, also, I completely agree that Haslet has to go Okay...Rant Over |

Way to stand there and watch Trent while Colt 45 is working his ass off

Re: Skins vs. Colts Gameday Thread
Honestly other than Trent williams the whole line could use a tune up. Defense imo has potential to be good just not with Haslett.

I think the front line is good enough and the LB are good, if someone can teach Riley how to cover a seam route. (Or they scheme to where he is not responsible for it.) The DB situation is a nightmare, partly it is injuries but even healthy, that is a bottom 10 unit. Ya I think Haslett has to go, but at the end of the season. He always does well vs the Cowboys and I want to win that last game. |
Re: Skins vs. Colts Gameday Thread
Way too soon to say what Moses and Long can do, give them next year. Moses as bad as he looked against the 49ers, showed some flashes agains TB. He is a ROOKIE.

theScore
Williams had a piss poor effort all day. I hope it is just the injury slowing him down and not an attitude thing. |
Re: Skins vs. Colts Gameday Thread
Haslett must go and if gruden says no to that then gruden must go also. go back to the 4-3. 3-4 hasn't worked for us and probably never will

I honestly have no opinion that matters. This team is so fawk ed on so many levels it doesn't matter what you do with Gruden.

trade for Harbaugh

Re: Skins vs. Colts Gameday Thread
I dont think we are as effed as it seems. We can obviously move the ball with "not so great" qb's. Our weaknesses are no secret. Oline, db's. We have more cap money than we have had in a while. We also have a first round pick which os going to be somewhere from the third to the seventh. We need to hire a gm and a dc. If we do not completely shit the bed thus offseason than we can easily become a competitive team next year.
If colt effin mccoy was our qb all year and we had any sort of halfway decent defensive backfield we would probably have 3-5 more god damn wins. We absolutely must strike gold in the draft and free agency. Key on two areas of the team. Its not effin rocket science. Best player available BUT also at those two areas of need! Re: Skins vs. Colts Gameday Thread
punch I disagree.
trends I notice: Garcon = not good anymore. Not RG3 fault he gets no play. Garcon was blaming RG3 nah Garcon get open and catch the ball. Stop throwing the ball to Morris, Jay you are a dumb ass. Everytime you throw the ball to Morris a red light in Dan's office flashes. The red light is labelled fire Jay. Jay you are no where near what the Redskins need in a head coach. |

Our problems are Pierre Garcon and screen passes to Morris? Gotcha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Coaching philosophy (changes) is the main issue. O-line is a major issue (for the 10th year in a row). DBs problems come from gambling too damn much because Murphy ain't Rak. Rak used to be in the back field blocked but the QB used to have to move. Did Murphy play? You used to see Rak every play and so does the opposing team's QB. We have a running QB and a west coast offense coach. why god why? We have a zone blocking run game that relies on small agile o-linemen, which is the direct opposite type olinemen you need to run the west coast offense pass game. why god please tell me. |
Re: Skins vs. Colts Gameday Thread
Obviously this is why you dont fire Gruden until he is given a fair chance to get his guys implemented.
Our secondary was absolute TRASH when Rak was playing. It was no better. Your really reaching. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Garcon 3 catches 9 yards yet you keep throwing the ball to Alfred Morris. brilliant! |
