I didn't understand the hire with Wade Phillips still out there. Look at what he did with the Broncos. Could've been us guys. Could've been us.
Ask Jim Schwartz how much money he wants to be the D Coord next year and give it to him. Problem solved. |
Re: Skins @ Panthers gameday thread
This was a very bad loss. Worse than the NE loss. Makes me question everything about this team.
|
Re: Skins @ Panthers gameday thread
Did Wade Phillips say no to us? Or did we not ask him? Hopefully its the former.

This is at least twice as bad as the Patriots loss. I'm actually glad we got to play them both on the road. Save the home games for more beatable teams. |
Re: Skins @ Panthers gameday thread
Offense as a unit, including coaching, was a disappointment. Run game is a joke. Passing game is too conservative.
Defensively the scheme isn't the best. I think our LBs would benefit from more 2 gap up front vs the run. But guys still gotta tackle and someone has got to step up and lead. I think Keenan was that guy but he's hurt. I'm not that upset about the D, we don't have great talent and the Panthers are a very good offense... So when you spot then points from 4? turnovers almost any D is gonna get lit up without some help from the offense. |

Re: Skins @ Panthers gameday thread
The ref that made the call on Culliver should get the ax. What the fuck does the NFL think about stupid shit like that? The league should be ashamed of themselves seeing shit like that. That's not even football when they make a dog shit call like that. That was a 14 point swing.
Speaking of Culliver, this is turning out to be a terrible signing. He is not a good corner at all. He is constantly getting burned week after week. And Joe Barry? I've seen enough of his pussy ass, soft as butter zone defense. When it's 3rd and 5 or less you have to jam the wr's and challenge them to make completions. Time after time I see him playing a soft zone. Why? Does Gruden see this this shit and say something? Matt Jones, take a seat on the bench. I'd bench him next week. Either you learn how to hold on to the ball or don't play. It's as simple as that. Quit babying him. Carolina is better across the board at most positions. Especially in the trenches. SM still has to draft along the front 7 and the o-line. |
Re: Skins @ Panthers gameday thread
The talent isn't there yet, and Jones wasn't the only guy with fumbles today.
Rushing for 14 yards.... |
Re: Skins @ Panthers gameday thread
I keep hearing the song "dust in the wind" play over in my mind except instead of dust it's the word "turds." Turds in the wind...and in my mind I see a collage of images of mcvay, Jay gruden, cousins, Bruce Allen, jo Barry, Alfmo, Stephen paea, culliver, and Dan Snyder. That's all they are man, that's all they are

Re: Skins @ Panthers gameday thread
Bottom line is THE REDSKINS SUCK!!! they have been suck ass for years ..they are horrible from top to bottom ..there is no bright spots. They don't deserve anything! they are a bunch of high paid athletes who came out in the second half with there heads stuck up there ass ..then they got schooled big time!! kudos to the panthers for kicking the skins..how much more can we the fans take of this dumpster fire?? Who the hell thought that Barry was a good D cord?? did he not go 0-16 as the D cord for the suck ass lions?? This team deserves no fans ..EMPTY STADIUM! I have been fan for 40 plus years this is a bad team ..THEY QUIT TODAY AT HALFTIME!! I would fire Barry on monday ..then give Gruden a ultimatum ..9 wins or you are gone!! I am ashamed to be a fan of this team!

Re: Skins @ Panthers gameday thread
We've had to play the best two teams in the NFL in the past three weeks who are likely to be a combined 20-0 by the end of this week. Coming into this game I expected the worst and hoped for the best.
The team needs to move on and keep fighting for the division. And if people need some perspective, the Eagles, who many in the media touted as the best team in the division just go blown out by the Bucs. We don't have to like this loss, but it's not like it is the end of the world. |
Re: Skins @ Panthers gameday thread
Yeah crazy thing. If we win a fair amount of our final 6 games or by some crazy act win out we win the division. We are a game out. We win next week at home And we are in first place. I can't believe it either but the difference in the way this team plays at FedEx and the way they play on the road is incredible.

Our play and coaching was the equivalent of a snuff film. Just got effed all day and then killed. |

Have to get those two games if we're going to make anything out of this season. But this team just can't play on the road at all. |

There seem to be more people posting about people 'crying' etc then there are actual posts with people 'crying'.

Well you just posted that the culliver call was a game changer. Than u said it was due to our ineptitude. I believe the 14 point swing was a huuuuge game changer. Anyway who cares. Get over it. I hope our team is cus they got a big game coming up. |

Agree with this. If Culliver's INT wasn't a legal hit, what is anymore?
I wonder if plays that negate TDs/INTs should be reviewable, just like turnovers and TDs are automatically reviewed. Also, I don't understand why the NFL won't use technology game more, now that the game speed is reaching levels it never imagined. You shouldn't just trust what these refs are seeing at full speed. |

You know what I hate most about the letter-of-the law, no judgement allowed officiating? It's that I now expect exceptional defensive plays caused by good hits to come back. The NFL is turning great plays into personal fouls. That takes away from the excitement and enjoyment of the game. |

It's gonna be hard to fix unless we add talent and get new coaches...that's kinda what we are saying. |

Thats kind of what you are saying. Nobody else thinks we need to fire everyone and burn it all down. We need alot of help on the defensive side. Alot of people are pointing out the weaknesses and that is fine BUT can we concentrate on winning one game next week and moving into first place for now? |

Lol, the constant shots of Griffin laughing onbthe sidelines thoooooo .... haha brilliant by fox, fucking pissed everyone off im sure...
