Then someones head needs to roll for starting this fool.

Rivera has talked about accountability all off season so who is accountable for this?

How does an unprepared lazy 2nd year player become week 1 starter and team captain?

Haskins and Rivera are two big mouths that talk the talk but don't walk the walk. They need to sort this shit out together.
I'm pretty sure that if we had a regular offseason with OTAs and real training camp, Haskings would have started the season on the bench.

There's no doubt in my mind that Snyder is the reason that Haskins was named the starter to open the 2020 season. I believe that Rivera had to promise Snyder that he would give Haskins a shot in order to get the HC job. You know, full control but with just one little promise to start the season.

It will be interesting to see if WFT fetches any offers at all for him. Thinking a 6th or 7th but no offers would be unsurprising to me. I don't think I've ever seen a qb situation evolve so rapidly.
If the QB field is as loaded as everyone says we shouldn't be talking about trying to trade up to the number 1 pick. Also this concept of tanking in the NFL seems crazy to me. Has there ever been a team that has tanked for a draft pick that went on to win a super bowl with that player? This isn't the NBA or NHL
I hope we are not tanking, especially for Lawrence. I do not think Lawrence is worthy of being the #1 overall pick personally. I have seen too many games where he isn't pin point accurate, like Tua or Burrow were. He gets bailed out by the top wr talent. Lawrence reminds me of Tribisky with a better supporting cast.

While I agree that this was immature BS I do think with the Covid situation and the warnings the NFL has sent out it's not surprising WFT told him to stay home. Better safe than sorry.

He's the consensus #1 Overall prospect and many believe he's the first can't miss QB since Luck (who was damn good when healthy) There is no way you pass up on this kid

Yeah, if you have the #1 pick.

We have a 1/32 chance of getting that pick, and unless we are so insanely terrible as to lose out those odds are terrible. Shit, our defensive line is good enough to win at least a couple games as the primary cause (the Eagles win already counts as 1, no way we win that game without their performance).

I get it, just from what I have seen, especially against the better teams he isn't a great passer. He has elite arm talent but not elite accuracy and that certainly showed against LSU and a few other games. There was a clear difference between him and Burrow. Just something to keep in mind....

I haven't been sold on Tua just because he went to Bama the Saban plan is defense and run, but Tua seems different from previous Bama QBs so I look forward to seeing him proving me wrong at some point.

We've all see the consensus #1 overall prospects not pan out...not saying Trevor will not pan out - time will tell.

At this point, I don't think you pass him up if you have the #1 pick. However, I think it's very unlikely that this team has the #1 pick next year. They will win at least a handful of games. No chance they trade up to get him in my opinion.

Wherever we are in the draft, the BIGGEST difference over the past 20 years is that SNYDER won’t be making the draft pick, or influencing that decision.

Rivera’s demoting Haskin’s to the #3 QB was PARTIALLY a message DIRECT to Snyder. I played your guy, and he’s not worthy. After 20 years, Snyder is out of the loop regarding personnel decisions. Rivera’s OTHER message was to the players: just because you’re the owner’s pet, you still have to prepare and perform.

Haskin’s is ANOTHER Snyder DISASTER. One in a very, very long line of very poor personnel decisions made by Snyder and his lackey GM’s, that have handicapped this team like a massive boat anchor on a tiny sailboat. No one has been able to win with that handicap. Not Gibbs, not Shanahan, not Rivera, not any of the offensive geniuses that have migrated to victories on other teams. I’m sure McVay and KOC felt some small satisfaction from putting it to Snyder one more time.

Only by cutting the Snyder tie can this team move forward. Rivera knows that he can’t hope to win with Snyder’s influence, in any way. Snyder knows that if he has ANY chance of surviving in the NFL past this season, it is with the knowledge that Rivera is remaking this franchise in his clean and hard-working image. Snyder knows that if he makes ANY attempt to put his fingers back into the management of the team, Rivera has only to drop one small note to the press and he will be vilified all over again.

It will take two years to clean out the stench of Snyder and Allen’s past personnel decisions. But it is worth the price, because it was impossible to win with Snyder’s horrible personnel decisions. I hope Snyder is forced to sell the team. But he is out of any influence as long as Rivera is HC. It can ONLY get better!!

Exactly right. Anything the NFL digs up now is NEW information and will add to the bad news the Post already has written about. The best thing the NFL did was to tell Snyder he couldn’t sue any former or current employees who have come forward before or now. Snyder uses his huge pockets and army of lawyers to try to intimidate anyone who doesn’t keep quiet about all the nefarious and disgusting activities since Snyder bought this team.

I think the NFL will keep quiet about most of the new and detrimental dirt dug up on Snyder’s franchise. Ultimately it will be up to the other owners to decide if Snyder must sell. Snyder has continually brought this team to new lows both on and off the field, but owners like Jerry Jones are certainly HAPPY to let him permanently occupy the cellar of the NFC East.

Absolutely RIGHT! Everything SNYDER does is wrong, both on-field and off. I'm hoping the owners cast his ass out after the season is over.

Then the new owner can change the name and rebuild.

Is it just me or does Haskins just sit on the bench and isn't involved in the games. When young QB's are learning they usually are up watching the game and sit with the other QB's listing in on what they are talking about. Haskins just seems to sit off on his own.
