I am glad we got their backup safety for just about 0 dollars though, the fact that it puts them in a bit of a bad spot is a nice bonus. |

Russell Wilson and the Seahawks have agreed to a 4-year, $87.6-million extension, per source. With Okung being a FA in 2015 and Wagner needing a new contract. I hope they have a plan. |
Re: All things off season 2015.
Damn that's a ton of dough for Wilson. Just under AR type of money? I guess Seattle didn't really have a choice. They had to pay him.

Re: All things off season 2015.
I feel like that's too much money (like the flacco deal) and it's going to hurt the team down the line. grats to wilson though, he got himself a deal.
actually if you consider it as payment for his first years of being criminally underpaid, maybe it's easier to justify. |

The entire Seahawks team was underpaid in the past two years. I'm just curious to see if Carroll can keep that amazing defense, which was a big reason for their success. |
Re: All things off season 2015.
Take your team to 2 straight SB's and you're going to get serious jack, just life in the NFL.
With that said, Brady will be filing his federal court appeal in 5 ... 4 ... 3 ... 2 ...
A 25k fine was the maximum punishment allowed for equipment tampering under the CBA. If he rolls into federal court and confesses to being the mastermind of the whole thing from beginning to end, and he admits the phone had texts that said "I did it. F Goodell" and flips off the Judge and the Commissioner on the way to the plaintiff's table, he is still entitled to the protections of the CBA. 2. He had no prior notice that he would be, or could be, suspended games for "not cooperating" The NFL can't make up infractions and punishments that didn't exist at the time of the violation. If he didn't have notice of a possible suspension for not cooperating, or obstructing, or whatever, from the CBA, existing league policy, or from Ted Wells super lawyer the NFL can't make it up as they go along. Pretty basic labor law. If it can happen to them, it can happen to us. NM. It already has. We were punished for exceeding the cap in an uncapped year. |

I can't see them letting Okung walk. One of the top five LT in the league. Arguably one of the top 3.

Another reason why Philadelphia sucks.
