You fell for it. No, I seriously had forgotten that it was my birthday until I looked at the date of the thread.

I said "hey, the date on the thread is the same day I was born. This means something.............It's my birthday!"

Yes, I know. But at least we both know that he will be back in about 30 minuites claiming "I was hugging".

So what, if anything, are you planning to do for your b-day?

A little bit of both. I was seriously going to stop badgering her.

Between you and I, I do like Harry Potter. I just wont watch them in the Theatre. My comments about "They need to show me more of his stuff" is dead on accurate though. I need to see him start whoopin some Wizard Ass.

Not a damn thing. I am going to go home and sleep so that I can wake up for class at 6PM. Then come back to work.

Yes an event filled day of everyday life. Just another day, nothing special about it. Over the years I have grown numb to the actual significance of holidays. I do not let anyone else around me down by playing them down, but I do not get hyped up for them either. If that makes any sense.

I agree with you...and it seems to be dragging on with the same old story. Yes, yes, we know you survived Valdemort (sp?), but do you have to have a close call in every movie? Give me a break.
Plus, this guy wants to kill him so badly, yet he makes this elaborate plan to kill him...just sneak up and kill him already.
It's time to get another side story going that is more interesting.

I agree. If they could just letting him get wicked good. Not cocky, just good. Show us what all the hype in the story is supposed to be about.

So July 24th is a holiday now? LOL. All hail Angry! Actually it does make sense.

I understand what you're saying...as you get older that seems to happen, especially if you have a job that requires holiday work.
My birthday used to be a holiday every year (Martin Luther King's B-Day), but then they changed it to "observed" holiday. I think I was in Jr. High when they changed it.

A birthday is a holiday to the individual that was born on it. Excecpt me. For years it seemed like I was deployed during all of the important holidays. Refering to October through January. I just lost that "awe" for the Holiday season.

For a kid that has gone through so much crap, you would think he would be more violent. They kind of tapped on it in this movie, and I hope they continue to do that. He needs to start taking matters into his own hands.
Like that little blonde brat in slitherin...he deserves to get his ass wooped.

See that's what I'm talkin about. A non chaperoned wizzards duel. And the blonde kid has to make up a story about why he is all messed up. Uh, I fell down the moving staircases".

First, Happy Birthday Angry.

I actually finished the book Sunday night, but decided to read the ending again last night. I'm satisfied with how the series ended. If you guys are waiting for Harry to go all "matrix" on Voldemort, you're going to be disappointed with the last two movies.

No MATRIX WTF over! I mean then why in the hell all of the buildup if there is no climax? Its like masterbation without the payoff!

There is a climax, but the story has never been about who has the bigger wand. While Harry is talented, he must try to figure out what V's weaknesses are in order to try and defeat him. Also, he's not given the whole truth about what his purpose is until the end of the final book. That's the reason for the build up.

The series is ulitmately about love, friendship, sacrifice and doing what is right, rather than what is easy.

So in otherwords Harry has to commit suicide. Thanks! Now I don't even want to finish it. It has a Matrix ending allright.

DMEK and Riggo 44, I am sorry that I haven't graduated into the ranks of Dungeons and Dragons that you two so vigorously play. One of these days maybe I will grow up, become a DM and pretend that I am a combination mage, ninja, wolverine; meanwhile slicing my buddys throat in real life because we were pit against each other.
