It looked like some people were earlier talking about Jansen, Wynn, and Springs

yeah, that's true, some of the cut lists are a bit insane. wynn is a likely candidate if someone new (draft/FA) comes in though, cause of the savings. springs and jansen really aren't cut options though.

Does anyone think we can get a young tackle, that can play as good or better than Jansen, for 2.5 million? What's up with signing Kozlowski, he is 36. This aint the time to be signing anymore over the hill stop gap players. Why not sign a Buck Ortega, at least there is some up side. Kozlowski is not even going to play.

I have been saying this for years, but I think its finally time we go after Joe Montana. I mean, he's maybe the greatest QB of all time. You have seen him in those commercials wearing his old uni and he still looks great. We might have to send a few first round picks to KC - I don't know, depends on his contract status when he retired - but that's not a big deal. Can you imagine the sensation? The electricity in Fedex with old Joe warming up under center. It's time.

I didn't have time to read through all these posts so sorry if someone has suggested this already.

I think we definately need to look at whether or not we can improve our oline. I also dont understand why they bring in Kozlowski.

if we replace Jansen, we're idiots, case closed. Stop the roster explosion madness.

they signed koslowski because fauria sucks and yoder sucks and they need a #2 TE that can actually block. ortega could catch alright, but he was a terrible blocker so that's not an option, and nemo is the last guy we need. we already have 3 rbs and a fb that are entire leagues above him in terms of talent.

I believe Fauria is hurt again. That's my understanding

OK, That Guy, are you saying that Kozlowski is going to play? I don't mean on special teams either. You always seem to want to say the opposite of what ever I say, like the Wynn thing. I have noticed lately you have been advocating getting rid of him. I already know what you are going to say. Your going to say, that you said, we can get rid of him, if we have a suitable replacement. You can say that about anybody. Originally, that is not what you were saying. Anyway, my point is why get an old tight end, that probably wont play, except on special teams. Buck Ortega, may not be a great blocker, but he can certainly get better. If not Buck Ortega, at least someone that is young and capable of improving, to help us in the future.

Yoder was pretty good, why isn't he playing?

Don't underestimate the importance of a special teams vet. Plus, we don't really need more receivers right now. We have plenty of people who can catch the ball

I just want a guy who can block. Fauria is a bust if I've ever seen one.

My point is not whether or not we got a guy that can block or not, why get someone that old. Why not find someone young, that can help us later. I doubt this guy will play much.
