Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
No one can sit here and defend the playcalling today.
It is CONSERVATIVE like no other. Pretty much all runs, and NO deep passes. Terrible, terrible. |
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
I guess it's up to the D in this one. The offense just can't get anything going, we really need to get healthy up front.
Football is an emotional game. Guys are going to get excited after making big plays, the NFL loves to take the fun out of the game at times it seems. I don't see a big deal in what Fletcher did. Let 'em play.
But that's not "letting them play", the play was over. Show some class. Barry Sanders was the best ever IMO, and he never did crap like that. Even when he scored a TD, he dropped the ball and went back to the huddle. He was true class, and unfortunately the NFL lacks a lot of class now-a-days. I think the NFL is dead on with those penalties. |
DO you want to take some time and ponder the irony of your misspelled statement? LOL.
Yeah, that was funny. |
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
Our biggest play of the day was Randel-El's catch and run for 26 yards. And that one "big" play was 17% of our total offense today.

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
have we even thrown a pass moss's way today? cant get him back in the game if you dont,at least throw a wr screen to him
|
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
Maybe we need to start going into halftime tied or down, maybe then more than the same 15 plays will be used.

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
3 and 3, how's that sound?

They've hit him on a couple of screens. |
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
Sigh.
Why are we throwing SHORT of the marker? Something's wrong with this offense today. It's not the offense we've seen over the past few games and its NOT the line, its the playcalling again.
That's not what the play was. It was a safety valve pass since our receivers down field were covered. |

He did get a screen today. Got about 4-5 yards on it. That's all he's seen today. |
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
I am so pissed at the play calling, I still don't see why it has to be on the defense.
The offense cant get anything going because they have been given no options(AKA terrible playcalling). |

Two big penalties on that drive kept the Cards alive. |
