Umenyiora was recommended hip surgery but apparently it won't get worse by playing on it, so they're holding off.. he's been working with the 2nd team

not only have the Ravens lost Sergio Kindle for a bit due to the skull fracture but Terrence Cody was held out of TC practice due to not passing the conditioning test

Chad Jones, the injured rookie NYG receiver, finally got out of the hospital

around the nfl news, etc

Goes to show what a class act McNabb is...Being booed when he was drafted, staying calm as T.O. blew up on him, and now this text to not only a division rival but the guy who got his job? Good to know there are zero character issues with our starting quarterback.

Now all he has to do is win a superbowl with the Redskins...

add our old friend Walt Harris to the list of those who failed his conditioning test for the Ravens

Ouch you would think these guys would be ready to go this time of year. In Walt's defense though he is coming off a major injury which kept him out last year.

Agreed Rbaner. Needs to get his ring here, the guy deserves one as much as we deserve another Championship team as fans.

The link will take you to the full article on Redskins Insider blog for the Washington Post.

I am so happy that Maake Kemoeatu is progressing in his rehab. Signing him was my favorite move this offseason. I cannot wait to see what Dline we have come September.

Re: Down time things to talk/think about.

I was pumpe about Kemo as well, but I have always been weary of putting to much hope of him playing well in the beginning of the season. He is coming off major injury and it can take up to a full 1 1/2 years to get back to real form. You hear the guys who are coming off the injury all the time how they feel good but it takes the guys time to get the confidence back that they won't reinjure the knee again.
