IDC who they play, as long as we are 3-0 after MNF I'm good
I am with you Okie, just talking about the state of the rivalry. It seems like Redskins Park is doing their part in producing a winner and trying to get it back on track, but I am not sure Danny's friend Jerry is cooperating. They still suck. |
Dude is somehow V.Burfict lands in DC I can tell you that would be a best case scenario .. he is a freaking beast, could have went pro 2 years ago he is so talented .. bummer ASU lost last weekend they have a solid squad .. i'll be at the USC vs ASU game this Saturday night .. I'll be rocking my Sean Taylor Jersey ... look for me on espn in the endzone !
Burfict is ridiculous... we'd be an unstoppable defense if he came to DC. But he's also a headcase haha. Trojans taking the Devils this weekend, son! |
Re: We Want Dallas! 2011 Thread
Thanks Okie. I thought we had won it in 2005. I know for a fact about 1999. I jumped for joy as we clinched it with a win over the 49ers on SNF.

Re: We Want Dallas! 2011 Thread
Yeah I threw the remote on the ground and broke it after we lost to TB. I know TB had a killer D, but we had a killer O.

Tampa has ALWAYS been a hellhouse of horrors for us. It's the Redskins' Kryptonite. From Super Bowl XVIII to last year when Gano blew the extra point, we ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS seem to find a way to lose there. |
Re: We Want Dallas! 2011 Thread
Yeah at least we beat them in tampa in the playoffs

Re: We Want Dallas! 2011 Thread
"...So one time in a meeting during Dallas week, all of a sudden we heard a GONG, ... and here came George (Allen), who was wearing his karate garb .... The whole locker room went crazy. We were shouting, 'GEORGE, GEORGE, GEORGE...' It was electric. He talked about Dallas week and how he wanted to fly to Dallas and meet Tom Landry at midfield and fight him, and if he could beat Landry, we would win. ....Now he had these boards with him, and these other guys were holding the boards. He was going to break two boards with his hands, and two others with his feet, and if he could break those boards, we were going to beat Dallas. The place was going nuts, chanting, 'GEORGE, GEORGE, GEORGE!' Now he started to warm up and was making all kinds of noises and taking deep breaths. It was unbelievable. All of a sudden he screamed, came down, and broke the two boards with his hands and the other two with his feet, and the place went nuts! ..."
Like the way you think DC ! I see you're close to ASU , maybe( MLB ) V. Burfict will be lining up next to Fletcher in 2012 .
I wish he was, the kid has some of the best instincts I've ever seen on a LB. I know you'll hear this from time to time, but I really do think the kid could be the next ray lewis. I'd take him or Jayron Hosley the CB from VT. He reminds me of Revis when he was in college. |
Re: We Want Dallas! 2011 Thread
I think 2005 everyone is thinking b/c we had a ridiculous division record that year
