Re: Gays in the NFL. How Do You Really Feel?
I actually think what I'll graciously call "counter-arguments" in this thread have been addressed enough. Time for this baby to die a thread death.
I hate that argument. It seems to be equating actual human beings with animals.
Animals will act like animals. If they want sex, they'll take it where they can find it. This is why your dog humps your leg. I'm not a fan of the choice of homosexuality by any means, but don't degrade them by comparing them to animals who don't have the brain capacity to make decisions like humans, they act on instincts. You're not going to see flamboyant frogs or crossdressing crocodiles in nature. Many gays do choose to have a different lifestyle in terms of sex, they way they dress, behave, and generally live life. But, unlike the animals you cite, they have the brain capacity to know what they're doing.
Its funny you guys are talkig about animals and you go by "Monkeydad". |

I don't think the point of thread, at least in my mind, was about pros and cons, or any particular argument, but just to get it out in the open. Just a discussion for people to say how they "feel". |

Some animals eat ther partner after intercourse but I find that rather nasty. |

Some people have sex with their dead... I do not find that appealing either. |

Re: Gays in the NFL. How Do You Really Feel?
I think it's a valid point, how can something be considered unnatural if it's prevelant behavior in nature itself? Relax, I'm not comparing people to animals, I'm just addressing the so called natural aspect of it.
In some species, its been theorized that homosexual behavior in females increases fertility. Homosexual behavor with males is generally one male trying to show dominance over a rival. There are no species in the animal kingdom where homosexual behavior is the primary activity performed by individual members of the specials. In other words, if you wanted to try to equate animal sexuality with that of humans, you'd refer to them as bi-sexual... although really theyre all heterosexuals who expirmented in college :) |
Re: Gays in the NFL. How Do You Really Feel?
Did Homer Simpson ever have sex with Nazis while eating pie in the locker room? Afterwards, did they eat their dead like zombies? Personally, I would be uncomfortable with that in my work place but am afraid if I said anything, I would accused of using hate speech by gay peacocks.
