they saw he was 6'2" 206 lbs and runs a 4.44. those are great stats for a big CB. he also had a billion picks in 2011.

in 2012 he got exposed a bit looking for big plays and biting on double moves etc.

it does sound sorta like hall, but we'll see.

Feel good we went CB first. Wonder if Amerson projects any as a slot cover guy?

Swearinger was a good looking safety, but he was also a penalty guy and played a little too outta control. Oh well, can't have them all. And Houston knows how to draft. Simply put, if the Redskins really like Swearinger, they would have taken him instead of Amerson. Clearly they didn't like him more than Amerson and theres something we're missing on Amerson and on Swearinger.

According to the USA Today Draft Guide Amerson was ranked 7th among CBs.

According to Lindys he was 8th with a 7.0 grade.

Remember Skins thought alot of the safeties graded similar, guys who go in the 2nd graded similar to guys who graded in the 4th. Difference wasnt that large.
