I agree. You do not play all teams the same. Dallas' top WR is a big powerful receiver that is not a super speed WR. In fact none of dallas' WR's are feared speed guys that would give our physical CB's a problem.
So playing tight man AND BLITZING is easier against a team like Dallas.

after re-reading the last few pages, i am left asking myself, "didn't we just beat Dallas?" and "why can't my favorite team find ways to NOT be involved in drama fit for a teen girl?"

Generally I agree with you.

But this defense plays different when they challenge wr's and go after the quarterback.

Our defense sucks when we give the qb 4+ seconds to find a receiver.

Just read Keim's piece on Jay holding Robert out against Dallas even though he was ready.

I believe most assumed a return at Dallas would have been rushing him back. So relieved. It's hard because of the last few years, but I actually believe what Jay is saying about Roberts return.
