How would we overpay for free agents if you have faith in the GM that we have??

When was the last time we "overpaid" for a free agent that was past his prime and over the hill?

Iupati is 27 and just played in 15 games this season, don't act like we would be signing Deion Sanders right now to a 7 year deal.

To quote you, please see previous post above. (Don't care which post, just pick one.)
Jason Hatcher. Last year.

Why isn't the team that drafted him, developed him, and knows him best not sure if they are going to make him an offer?

What do you guys know that the SF FO doesn't know?

Please share, I want to know too.

Like I said, 49ers are limited in cap space, Gore, Davis and Crabtree might be casualties too.

Bruce Allen said we're winning the offseason, so don't blow it, dammit!

It's still early. All that starts tomorrow. Still plenty of time to buy in, drink the cool aid, and spend way too much on Sunday Ticket, only to sulk next December.

All it will take are a few FA/trade rumors.

We have this off season in the bag.

That is the case with most free agents that get let go.

Let's just get to the point, nothing you say will change my mind and vice-versa so I don't want or need to share anything, because it is pointless

With all of the talk around us needing safety help and trust me I am firmly on that bandwagon. Did everyone forget that we picked up Duke Ihenacho last year and then he got hurt, I remember him being pretty good and could with Phillip Thomas be a decent safety tandom, as I believe that we are much more in desperate need of yournger cheaper more effective o-line as well as pass rush help.

That duo wouldn't inspire much confidence IMO. And they're both better suited for strong safety. We can do a lot better and we need to.
