Pressure from the same white liberals that wanted the name removed.
I don't think the team would consider it on their own, but it Fed-Ex is pressured into demanding it by the woke mob, things could get ugly. That's their tactic, protest and pressure company into changing policies...then move onto the next company. Caving to liberal politics is a sure business-killer, just ask Dick's Sporting Goods.
I will wear some gear but most of it will be put away
Same here. Older classic gear like jerseys and jackets are put away. I still wear Redskins shirts to work out and around town. I've never been a fan of the decked out superfan look.
The mob got what they wanted with the name. Nobody is going to care about what people are wearing to games. At least not enough to generate the type of pressure to have the team ban Redskins gear.
You know Florio and his gang of betas said he will be watching who uses the term Redskins going forward. Apparently he been scrubbing nfl.com websites looking the name as well as team sites. When you have nutless cowards like this, nothing will surprise me. |
Re: Will You Still Wear Your Skins Gear After?
I can't believe Florio still has that job

So technically there wouldn't be any reason to ban the jerseys.
You know Florio and his gang of betas said he will be watching who uses the term Redskins going forward. Re: Will You Still Wear Your Skins Gear After?
Doubt that, are they going to paint out the Indian logo and every mention of the redskins in each frame of film, I doubt it in which case what is the point in changing the audio
|
Re: Will You Still Wear Your Skins Gear After?
Changing the audio would not only be stupid, but also well into the realm of what is traditionally and correctly termed, "Orwellian."

Re: Will You Still Wear Your Skins Gear After?
Why not edit the helmets too while they're at it
|
Re: Will You Still Wear Your Skins Gear After?
They'd also need to edit all sideline helmets and staff gear! Then cut out all fan shots.
Not only is this idea far-fetched, it's impossible. You'd just have to stop showing all Redskins videos altogether. And that, as mentioned, would definitely be Orwellian. Erasing the existence is history because you're offended, actually is happening though. |

The question is more likely how long before the records of historic Superbowl winners and player statistics have the name changed |

We are clearly seeing strong examples of both Maoist and Orwellian behavior across the country. It kinda laughable to think some erasure of skins in the archives hasnt been discussed in the NFL halls. Obscenely naive. |

Re: Will You Still Wear Your Skins Gear After?
People wanted the name gone, but I never heard someone say the name needs to go and the entire team history scrubbed clean.
