Summo just started a thread on match-ups...that should help answer your questions too. Like it or not, uniforms are a big part of the game.




Me, I like the classic looks like Bears, Packers, Colts, Raiders, Chiefs and of course the Skins.

Things get messy when you let these companies go wild with designs...like the Seahawks, Titans, Jags, Bengals...

The only modern uniform I really like is the Texans.

So did I. I though the Mr. Blackwell he was calling me from from that "What Not to Wear" show, I was wrong but found her.

That commercial and the psychic lady from Long Island...stop showing these commercials constantly.

Man, I used to love the white on gold look, but its getting old real quick for me. I wish they'd bring back the burgundy pants for a few games every year.

Agreed. For whatever reason, that rotation only seems to come up during preseason. Not sure why that is.

Not anymore. We scrapped the burgundy pants...they're not in our rotation any more.


Big mistake. If anything we should have dropped the white ones and wear B over G or W over B.

Isn't the whole thing kind of a Bruce Allen decision? I remember reading something when Bruce became GM that it was a throw back to his Dad's days coaching the team in the 70's. Gold pants, White pants, ..... did the early 70's Redskins ever wear Burgundy pants?

I wonder if this is from that youth team that Joe Gibbs coached in the last year. I remember them having white helmets.
