He should prob stay in Dallas, since that massive offensive line they have is the reason he did so well this year. And focusing on the run, and not on having Romo carry the team, is the reason why they won this year. However, I'm sure some team will overpay him. |

The real question: Why do you have friends who are Cowboys fans? You need better friends. (J/K -- I have a few of them too. None are returning my emails today though. Can't imagine why.) |

im interested to see. a good litmus test for just how far "premier" backs have fallen in terms of building blocks. i just dont see a good GM giving more than 5 mil per to any running back ... peterson, murray included. re 9 mile swim - wasnt it just a few years ago 2 former players (college) died and 1 NFLer survived in Florida waters? im never challenging the waters out there .. ever. |

Even if you think it is true, it is just plain dumb of an owner to say to someone that they think the DL coach would be better than the current HC. Dumb Jed York. The 49ers were crap before Harbaugh showed up. Good luck to them. |
Re: All things off season 2015.
Cowboys owner/GM Jerry Jones admits CB Brandon Carr is a candidate for release.
Carr has been a towering bust since signing a five-year, $50.1 million deal in March 2012, and is set to count $12.7 million against the cap next season. "One thing that we just got to do is we’ve got to make sure that every way we can, we get the value for the money," Jones said. The Cowboys could clear $8 million in cap space by designating Carr as a post-June 1 cut. Called this free agent bust when it happened. Brandon Flowers still the better corner |

I find it interesting that Jones seems to be willing to let Murray go in order to keep Dez, because the reason Dallas won this season is because they focused on the running game (as opposed to put everything on Romo's shoulder). |

Only if he has a replacement in mind which is Peterson. See Jerry Jones right now still has a massive hard-on from last season. Right now he is feeling like every move he makes is the right one...so this is where he gonna make some massive mistakes. This is gonna be like when the Skins had Brad Johnson and Dan said nope this situation is too damn perfect, let me personally wreck this franchise with Jeff George. Because I the greatest damn owner in the world and my Skins had a decent season. |

Only thing that could damage them is the fact that Romo is getting old and the number of injuries he has is starting to add up. Hopefully they will be like Cleveland a couple years ago where they had everything but a QB. |
sure, what do you think they could get ?
The closest trade to this that I remember is when the Falcons moved from #27 to #6 in 2011 to get Julio Jones, they gave up their 1st- (27th overall), second- (59th) and fourth-round (124th) picks that year and their first- and fourth-round picks the following year (2012). The Iggles are at #20 this year, so hopefully the compensation would be multiple picks (probably not five though). If I remember correctly, our team has done a pretty good job at acquiring picks during draft day. |

if you get a 1st/2nd and 1st next year... that'd be hard to turn down.

I was thinking along those lines too. Would love to see what McC is able to do with two second rounders this year and two first rounders next year. |
Re: All things off season 2015.
Because it's the Eagles, let's demand Maclin so that Mariota has no one to throw to. Just kidding but it would be funny.
