Came in to say, David was a true original, and one of these fucking weirdos who made this place so much better. We live in a time where art is seriously lacking, losing an artist who says fuck everything, here’s how I see it was refreshing. Everything is such a bore these days, we need more folks like David Lynch |

My daughter plays AAA hockey and we are on the road 3 out of 4 weekends a month driving 6-8 hours every trip. I have dealt with bad drivers and bad weather and have had a few close calls but you cant control what some idiot does. Its a fear I have had for a bit. Some trips we have to fly and now with the recent plane crash that adds to the fears. |

RIP .......Gene Hackman
https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/national-international/gene-hackman-oscar-winning-star-of-the-french-connection-dies-at-95/3854120/ Gene Hackman, the Oscar-winning actor whose gruff but soulful turns in classics like “The French Connection,” “The Conversation” and “Unforgiven” made him one of the most respected performers in Hollywood, died on Thursday. He was 95. He was found dead alongside his wife, Betsy Arakawa, 63, a classical pianist and his second wife, according to the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office. "We do not believe foul play was a factor in their deaths however, exact cause of death has not been determined at this time," the office told Sky News. |

Re: R.I.P. thread
There’s a movie called Conclave that came out last year. I think it probably depicts what a real conclave is like. Conclave is the process where the Cardinals gather and pick a new pope.

Re: R.I.P. thread
RIP Pope Francis. I actually talked with a fellow parishioner about his health recently. A sad day indeed.
