Bad teams find a way to lose, we are set for another losing season under Ron. He’s not a good coach folks, he’s a nice story because of the cancer survivor and that’s awesome for him. But when it comes to football he’s outdated and old. We suck man. I don’t even get up for games anymore
I'm starting to think Rivera isn't the one for the job. Maybe if he gets rid of Turner and JDR he'll afford himself some time. If he sticks with both of 'em them he's cooked.
You protect a QB by not letting them pass the ball all the time. In R. Wilson's first two seasons or so, Seattle's coaching staff design their entire gamebook on the run and limited what Wilson could do. It's not that difficult to do and we have the players to design a run first, short pass offense.
The difference was Seattle had a much better defense than we do. I think Turner is calling the game the way he is cause he knows he has to score points. But yeah he is a bit too pass happy with the TH. You simply can not drop him back a bunch and not expect some turnovers.

The Hail Mary was just bad defense. Bad coaching. Lack of talent on defense. Eventually the better team took control of the game and that was the Saints.

There is no fixing this team this year. After 5 games u are what u are. Our defense is trash, our offense is not much better. Honestly at this point I just want a top 5 pick
This. The defense needed a stop and what they do? Long drive touchdown
JDR obviously the worst coach this year, and even when we dont play an awful game on defense we get the two long passes including a hailmary that we actually watched, almost from a far. Then the drive in crunch time we turn into absolute butter.

Gibson eating up yards, and TH playing like garbage -= get the ball back on the next series and throw three times from shotgun. Turner literally has no business being an OC. None. He is a joke.

Rivera? He is responsible for all of it. It is like he is shielded from criticism somehow or for some reason. Why? Dude is the head coach. Head scratching mistakes and penalties that we see constantly are on him and is lack of attention to detail.

Terry can’t do it all by himself, that’s a top 5 corner he went up against. Carter is a solid 2 but that’s all we have. Curtis Samuel is another free agent bust for us. Dude sucks ass

also on the Hail Mary, why isn't your best athletes on the field? Whomever is the tallest and the players that can jump the highest should be out there. That is not fucking Collins. Jesus a stupid ass pee wee coach can figure that shit out, yet Ron and Del Fucko can't???

They don’t criticize Ron because he’s a nice guy. Well sorry it’s time for him to get some heat, Dude just stands there with no emotion all game. He says “we have to get better” every fucking week and we don’t.

You won’t get calls like that with aggressive corners. Especially the great ones. It is what it is, I’m sure we had some where they could have called too. That has nothing to do with our defense being absolutely dog shit and TH sucking ass today. Those were 2 of the worst ints we’ve seen in years.

Maybe it is time for Allen to get some reps. TH has the weakest arm I think I have ever seen on an NFL field. idk, Ron has some tough decision to make. He needs to bench some guys for sure. Starting w/ Collins.

It is why those lucky wins are not easily celebrated. They dont mean dick. This is a bad team. Worst one in a while actually but those two “wins” make us 2-3 so we must be better than this. Nope. All those two wins do at the end of the day is screw up your draft stock and keep people around that do more harm than good. They are named Scott, Ron and Jack. They are bad people.

Allen aint helping us. TH played awful today. But It isn’t his arm strength. It was his touch. He over threw as much as he under threw.
Ron needs to be benched.

To underperform the way this team has with the amount of talent it has on paper is inexcusable. Someone needs to be held accountable, the DB’s have been shit since week 1 and nothing has changed. Bench or cut the newcomers, start the players who played well last year.

We have a semi competent OC and QB, those two defensive mistakes are irrelevant.

Well……they were game changing mistakes. Even with our semi competent OC and QB we win the game without them. The sad truth here is we are incompetent all around. This team is not improving under this new regime, and yet we arguably have better pieces than we did with Gruden. That is a major red flag.

The shit offense should have scored more points. No doubt. But our secondary is worse than our offense. It is the most disgusting secondary I ever remember seeing on any team in my life. I know its the day of yet another loss but I don’t think angry pissed off me is overstating that. The play of our secondary on that hail mary was absolutely laughable. Not one person really even tried to jump. It was like they all thought they were supposed to just run down to the endzone and be there but not to actually worry about a completion. That is coaching. That is players. That is a complete and utter lack of focus, understanding, and skill by several players on a routine hail mary. And for LC to say they didn’t expect a hail mary is either a fireable offense on the coaches or all the players involved. Probably both.

Good points, but again, I refuse to let the offense off the hook. That was pure incompetence. And I hate that they keep getting a pass because of the defense.

I don’t think anyone is letting them off the hook. It is just a matter of expectations. The defense was supposed to be the strength. Offense was hopefully going to be good enough to win because of our defense.
The offense has been good enough, and if our defense was playing like last year we are 4-1 at least.
That all being said, you will never catch me giving Scott Turner a pass. He is out of his league. Literally out of his league because he doesn’t belong in the NFL. Taylor today was shit. He gets no pass from me. Again though Taylor wasn’t what we were pinning our hope on it was the defense and they are falling woefully short of expectations. You could argue the offense is exceeding them - problem is the expectations for them were not high.
We need a quarterback. We need a new OC. I did not expect to need 6 new starters and a DC on defense but we do.
