It's not really about what side actually cries more. It could be 100%/0%. It's moreso just about the perception that each side has about the other. Even just in general, not specific to recent elections.

I hear you but perception can be based in reality and for as far back as I remember ( jimmy carter) I have never seen anything remotely close to the reaction from the right when Trump lost. Even Bush vs Gore with that whole mess …. Within a few weeks it was full speed ahead. Yeah. I don't have blind loyalty to anyone just because they say they are a "republican and/or conservative". There are plenty of conservative annoying people, assholes, crybabies, and cunts. I try to just be as consistent as possible for myself and will always believe that true conservative (within the frame of the constitution) values and policies are best for our country.

I wish we could all just move on with our lives and have a normal 2024 election, but it ain't happening. I still don't have a clue who I'm going to vote for. Maybe if Kennedy runs as an independent, I'll vote for him.

Here's to 2028. Biden and Trump should both be in retirement homes by then.

Agree that nothing compares to the MAGA crowd and their delusions about the election being stolen. That said I blame Gore more than anyone for the predicament the US is in. In 1960 Nixon could have contested the election (and had very reason to do so, even more than Gore in 2000) but thought it would be too divisive and could tear the country apart. Gore faced that same choice and chose the action that has been tearing the country apart ever since. The Bush-Gore election challenge juiced partisanship into hyper-partisanship that never abated, Trump and MAGA are the end result.

Trump Told Australian Billionaire Nuclear Sub Secrets, Who Then Told 45 Others: Reports
The former president allegedly spoke about the vessels during an event at his Mar-a-Lago club after he left the White House

https://www.huffpost.com/entry/trump-australia-billionaire-nuclear-submarines_n_651f5158e4b091a3dc26bf0a

Former President Donald Trump reportedly shared details about America’s nuclear submarine program with an Australian billionaire, who then went on to tell journalists, foreign officials and others about the sensitive information, according to multiple reports.

ABC News first reported that special counsel Jack Smith had learned about Trump’s disclosure to the billionaire — a cardboard magnate named Anthony Pratt — as part of his investigation into the former president’s handling of classified documents. Trump allegedly told Pratt several government secrets about the submarines during an event at his Mar-a-Lago club and residence in Florida, where the billionaire is a member.

Pratt reportedly told prosecutors and FBI agents that he brought up the submarine fleet in April 2021, after Trump had left the White House. The former president then revealed the supposed number of nuclear warheads that are on board U.S. submarines at any time and how close the vessels can get to a Russian submarine without detection.

The billionaire, ABC News added, shared that information with at least 45 people, including three former Australian prime ministers, a half dozen journalists and other foreign officials. Australia recently inked a deal with the United States to spend up to $245 billion over the next three decades to build a fleet of nuclear-powered submarines

“His lawyers couldn’t trust him”: Experts stunned at differences between Biden and Trump docs cases

https://news.yahoo.com/lawyers-couldn-t-trust-him-125759811.html

“I can’t describe how different this was handled by Biden compared to Trump,” agreed national security attorney Bradley Moss. “Trump never sat for an interview. His lawyers couldn’t trust him.”

“The Constitution held firm. The Government did not collapse. Riots did not break out. Almost like adults know how to handle investigations and overgrown adolescents throw tantrums and Twitter rants,” he added
Former federal prosecutor Renato Mariotti said that the interview suggests the “investigation is wrapping up and that Biden’s legal team is not concerned about any potential criminal charges.”

“Unlike Trump, Biden sat for a two-day interview. He wouldn’t have done that if he had potential criminal exposure,” he wrote.

National security attorney Mark Zaid pointed out that Biden and former Vice President Mike Pence, who also returned classified documents after discovering them when he left office, avoided the same kind of legal trouble Trump now finds himself in.

“If Trump had timely reported possession of the documents to govt & simply returned them, just as Biden AND Pence did, he never would have been prosecuted,” he wrote. “He brought this mess upon himself.”

Engoron questioned Trump on the witness stand Wednesday about comments he made outside the courtroom that appeared in violation of a gag order imposed to keep him from disparaging the judge’s staff, Reuters reported.

During a break earlier on Wednesday, Trump told reporters, “This judge is a very partisan judge with a person who is very partisan sitting alongside of him, perhaps even much more partisan than he is.”

In court, Engoron’s clerk, who Trump attacked in a social media post that later resulted in a $5,000 fine, sits next to him.

Engoron asked who he was referring to with his latest comments. “You and Cohen,” Trump responded.

Engoron was not impressed. "As the trier of fact, I find the witness is not credible," he said, and issued a $10,000 fine.

After that, Trump angrily stormed out of the courtroom and the trial then continued.

Engoron, earlier on Wednesday, admonished Trump’s lawyers over remarks the former president made outside the courtroom, the Associated Press reported.

Kise responded that Trump was referring to Cohen, who delivered testimony from the witness stand a short distance from where the judge sits.

Why it matters: Engoron, who has now twice fined Trump for violating the gag order, has also threatened to jail him if the attacks continue. Wednesday’s altercation was yet another test of his patience.

Truthfully, 95% of that was Trump leading the charge on a full on insurrection and continually lying about the results of the election. He was already prepping his base for election lies even prior to the election. He repeatedly told them over and over again that if he lost the election, it would be because it was stolen from him or it was rigged. He did the same thing in 2016.

There has never been a President that has been so damaging to our democracy than Donald Trump. Sadly, the conservative media helped him perpetrate those lies as well, which is why they are losing lawsuits.

Another big difference between now and then is social media. Now, we see everybody's reactions even when we don't want to.

A PAC controlled by Donald Trump paid millions of dollars to a law firm representing Ivanka Trump.

Firms representing Ivanka in the NY Attorney General's lawsuit over the Trump Org's finances got $2.3 million last year.

Another law firm repping Trump family members got more than $5 million.

A political fundraising group controlled by Donald Trump has spent millions of dollars on law firms representing his adult children for their personal legal problems.

The group, called Save America PAC, spent a combined $2.3 million in 2023 for two law firms that represented Ivanka Trump, his eldest daughter, according to a Business Insider review of Federal Election Commission records.

The PAC spent an additional $5.3 million on the law firm Robert & Robert, which represented his three eldest children — Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, and Donald Trump, Jr. — as well as the Trump Organization in an array of lawsuits

Former President Donald Trump’s lawyers tell a New York appeals court that he faces “insurmountable difficulties” in securing the $464 million bond from lenders, which he is required to pay as he appeals the judgment in his financial fraud civil trial. Trump is also asking the court to lower the amount he must pay while he appeals the case. Here are the latest legal developments facing the presumptive Republican presidential nominee for 2024.

Trump’s lawyers told a New York appeals court that the former president had approached 30 underwriters to try to secure the $464 million bond required for him to proceed with his appeal of Engoron’s judgment in the financial fraud trial, but none had agreed to lend him the money

Trump Biographer Busts Trump's Biggest Myth About Himself Wide Open

Donald Trump biographer Tim O’Brien on Wednesday laid bare the facade of the former president as a business guru.

O’Brien, appearing on MSNBC’s “Deadline: White House,” reflected on the former president’s yearslong practice of “stripping average folks from their paychecks” after The New York Times reported that more than $100 million of Trump’s legal fees had been paid from money fundraised off his peddling of 2020 election lies.

Trump’s Atlantic City casino business “busted average working class folks on the premise that maybe they get rich,” O’Brien recalled. “Of course, some of them were going there for fun, but a larger sort of mojo of the business was selling a false dream to these folks.”

The four-times-indicted presumptive GOP nominee’s “Art Of The Deal” book was “meant to be a Bible about how to be successful in business, when in the real world he’s a serial bankruptcy artist,” he continued.

Trump presented himself on his NBC business reality show “The Apprentice” as an “entrepreneurial guru to the masses and the hardest working corporate executive when in fact he’s lazy, he plays golf most of the time and he’s not particularly bright,” O’Brien explained.

Trump later monetized his presidency “whether it’s his hotel near the White House or now, in a really grand mal, grotesque way, taking campaign finance donations and using to pay his personal legal bills,” he added.

With the Constitution and BOR and pledge of allegiance and everything else a conservative needs in them too. LMAO. Talk about a book that Trump will literally never read in his life.

Somebody said the grift is churches can buy unlimited copies of the book and it's just another money laundering thing for Trump to get funds from since the lawyers are bleeding him dry. Anybody can buy as many copies of the book as they want and since nobody tracks where that money came from it literally could come from anywhere in the world.

I bet we'll see that book on the bestsellers list in a couple week even though we all know Trump supporters don't read (yeah I said what I said Chico).

Remember when some reporter asked Trump what his favorite Bible verse was and he said (paraphrasing) the whole book? That motherfucker couldn't even pick some random popular verse lmao.

Fact Check

Trump Asked in 1995 'Is It Wrong to Be More Sexually Attracted to Your Own Daughter Than Your Wife'?

A quote purportedly spoken by Donald Trump about his then-13-year-old daughter Ivanka has been shared online for years. Snopes looked for the truth.

Conclusion
It's possible Trump may have made the remark about being more sexually attracted to his young daughter Ivanka than his wife, considering the fact video and audio exist of him making other similar comments. For example, after Trump made a remark on "The View" in 2006 saying he'd date Ivanka if she wasn't his daughter, a Trump representative later told The Associated Press that Trump "was absolutely joking. He was making fun of himself for his tendency to date younger women. It's a sense of humor that people don't see [from him] all the time."

Without further evidence, we haven't yet been able to definitively confirm the veracity of the quote published by BuzzFeed News. A rating of "Unproven" has been selected for this fact check. This rating does not mean the rumor is true or false. Rather, it simply means we weren't yet able to find and independently review enough evidence to make a more firm determination.

For further reading, we previously reported more details about the Trump remark about considering dating his daughter and the rumor he once admitted to going into changing rooms of beauty pageant contestants. We also published a story in 2019 about a claim regarding the same "sexually attracted to your own daughter" quote.
