Why is Rivers an asshole? |

Be the last ones filled.
Just a question , first I agree .......worst job is the Browns and with that said . What do you guys think the chances are of Deion Sanders being the HC of the Browns? |
Re: The annual NFL coaching carousel
Not impossible but unlikely. I can't see him walking away from the Buffs to the Browns, given the mess they're in and seems nobody else wants to go there. Maybe a year or 2 once the Watson fiasco is in the rear view and Shedeur is either established or gone. Browns will likely end up with a young coach with something to prove and little chance any failure looks bad on his CV. Or an older guy with nothing to lose. Carroll maybe?

Re: The annual NFL coaching carousel
Browns hiring Deon would be a joke.
Browns will either hire one of the candidates they are still interested in, that have games today or Jim Schwartz. Unless Sheddur blossoms; until Browns are completely free of Watson’s contract, they won’t move forward. Might as well give it to Schwartz. This season see of Sheddur or Dillon are the guys. Browns have 2 1’s . Build the rest of the team but use one of those 1’s to try to get more 2027 picks; so you will have the flexibility to get qb in 2027 draft if needed. |

Like I said his football playing is unquestioned but he is not well liked around the league , big mouth deva type. Has Coached HS and nowhere else. |

Rivers was jawing him from the sideline. He yapped a lot but also could back it up.

Monken reportedly hired as HC by the Browns. Honestly thought they'd be last to get a coach signed.

Re: The annual NFL coaching/gm carousel
Has anyone heard Kliff Kingsbury's name mentioned at all? I wonder if he just decided he wants more time away from the game?

Sent from my SM-S711U using Tapatalk
I recall he interviewed for OC jobs and head coach for Ravens (I believe), but that's about it. I'm kinda surprised by this. I thought at the worst, he would be one of the first coaches to be hired OC in the first wave. |

KK was a mediocre head coach at Texas Tech and Arizona Cardinals. He wasn’t as great of an OC that people make him out to be. As to head coach- Looks like Raiders are waiting for Seahawks OC Klint Kubiak. No clue if Cards waiting on someone from the Superbowl teams. |
Re: The annual NFL coaching carousel
I'm a little surprised there's been seemingly no Sean McDermott chatter. I mean, it's not like he was a disaster in Buffalo is it?

Re: The annual NFL coaching carousel
Thoughts on this hiring cycle.
Titans- OK hire of Robert Saleh . True he was handicapped at QB while with Jets but I don’t think he’ll be successful with Titans and will get fired in 3 years. Giants- Great hire of Harbaugh. He should have Giants as regular playoff contenders. Will Definitely be another obstacle for us to get thru. Will he win a title? Unknown. Falcons- Good hire of Stefanski. He might do a little better in Atlanta than he did in Cleveland. That depends on Pennix. Browns- So so hire with Monken. To much of a mess at QB. Sanders or Gabriel? Let Watson play? Get a new qb in 27? Then the mess at DC. Schwartz refuses to return as DC. Browns to much of a mess and I expect Monken to fail and eventually get fired. Raiders- Kubiak could finally bring joy Raiderland. If Mendoza is a franchise qb and the Raiders surround him with more talent; he could be successful. Raiders have 4 picks in top 102 and they have a conditional 4th round pick also. Cards- Mike Lafleur is ok hire but I think he will fail in competitive NFC West. Dolphins- No clue on Jeff Hafley but who’s the QB if Tua is done there? I expect him to fail and be fired in 3 years. Ravens- Jesse Minter is a good hire and I think he will get Ravens to a Superbowl at least. It will be up to Lamar to rise up and win it. Steelers- Ok hire with Mike McCarthy. The only difference after Steelers get that QB; maybe Steelers win a playoff game instead of losing. Bills- Smart in promoting Joe Brady. If Joe can get them over the hump, Bills will win their first title. |

Hot seat Jan. 2027: 1. Commanders - Dan Quinn 2. Eagles- Nick Sirianni 3. Bucs- Todd Bowles 4. Colts- Shane Steichen 5. Jets- Aaron Glenn 6. Bengals- Zac Taylor - well only if he has nothing left on his contract. Brown to cheap to him; if Bengals fail again. .
Since this year had 10 openings, next year should be light. 2 Big retreads will be in the market for next year’s coaching cycle; McDermott and Tomlin. Those 2 being available could play a role in whether a coach gets fired next year. My previous post listed the potential openings next year. Only the Jets look like a team that could fire their coach in season. Could a team fire coach to keep a young up and coming coach and promote them? We’ve seen that happen before. DQ better hope Blough really doesn’t outshine him. Blough really has a good year with offense and other teams may want him as head coach. To prevent losing him, we get rid of DQ and after meeting Rooney Rule; promote Blough. |
