The thing that I find most amazing is how you selflessly volunteer to be a fluffer for Trump. For the work you're doing you should be getting paid at a minimum.

It’s because u make it about Trump. We all know he isn’t a good guy and you think because of this it’s crazy to think there is no way he could be more effective governing and administering policy better than Present Obama or now Biden.

It’s tough to deal with cause you and Democrats seem to think politicians are your hero (s) and government in general should play a big part in your life. I have never understood it. The same party who wants to say this country isn’t great is the same party who wants the institution to be larger and more involved individually.
Neither did I , I just said you add it to the conversation.
90% of this thread is:

Step 1: Chico brings up something negative about Biden (not discussing warranted or not)
Step 2: G1 calls him stupid and/or tells him to STFU
Step 3: Punch blames Trump and/or says Trump was worse
Step 4: Rinse and repeat

Note - Sometimes Step 3 is Step 2 and step 2 is step 3. But it's a 4 step process for shizzle.

9% is me adding stupid to the conversation

1% is miscellaneous posts

There you go.

I know it’s hard to defend bad policy and outcomes. Like more Covid deaths under Biden than trump even though Biden was handed 3 vaccines already developed and were being administered at a 950k shots a day when he took office.

It’s tough.

Trump's missteps meant many more coronavirus deaths, former official says

Deborah Birx believes more than 130,000 American lives could have been saved if the Trump administration had championed key public health tools to mitigate the coronavirus's spread.

In a closed-door interview with congressional investigators, the former White House coronavirus coordinator painted a portrait of an administration “distracted” by last year’s election and caught between top advisers advocating for wildly different responses to a raging pandemic, The Post’s Dan Diamond reports.

https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-biden-counties-covid-death-rate-3-times-higher-vaccines-2021-11

Trump counties' had over 3 times more COVID deaths than 'Biden counties' in October, according to a new report

trump is killing off his own people!

People are now dying from COVID-19 at a rate 3 times higher in counties where former President Donald Trump won at least 60% of the vote than in counties where President Joe Biden won a similar percentage, according to a New York Times analysis of the data.

And that partisan gap — which didn't emerge until the widespread availability of vaccines in the spring of 2021 — has consistently widened over the last 5 months.

The gap, according to the Times, accelerated at its fastest rate yet in October, coming out to 25 COVID deaths per 100,000 residents in counties where Trump won more than 60% of the vote, versus 7.8 deaths per 100k in counties where Biden did the same.

A late October poll by the Kaiser Family Foundation's COVID-19 Vaccine Monitor found that 39% of Republican adults remain unvaccinated, while just 10% of Democratic adults said the same thing.

Re: Fresh Start Political Thread

I'm on a group chat with 3 of my best homies in the world. It's an even 2/2 split between conservatives and liberals. The other conservative guy who moved back to CO, sent a screenshot of a CA gas station charging like $5.50 a gallon, and this was verbatim, a response from one of my liberal buddies:

"Can't afford it, get out! It's how we're dealing with traffic. CA is horrible..."

Him and his wife, I love them both, both work for the government and just bought a house worth over a million dollars. Caught me off guard that he said that, while basically getting rich off of working for the government, largely paid for by people he'd gladly have leave our state because they can't pay for it and all the other expenses in CA.
