SBF. I agree that threads should stay on topic as much as possible. I think a little jacking is fine here and there but in this case maybe the hijacking was a little unwarranted. All that being said I have seen you repeatedly denigrate what people say by elluding to their age and basically saying they are too young to have a valid opinion. It seems like whenever people challenge you and make solid arguments you come back with some "Well I was your age once too and now I realize that I didn't know everything" comment. Are you implying that you know better because you have a few more years than some here? Or what? I think personally that type of argument is itself pretty immature. You basically can't support the merits of your argument rationally so you just diminish everyone else's opinions with a petty age refernce. What's up with that?

I generally track with you in the initial phases of your discussions then fall right out of line when you stop arguing merits and start throwing out non-relevant BS.

Again, I basically agree with your initial premise about the hijacking but I think you know you can make better and more intelligent arguments. To me it is always better to be right than to "win." Winning sometimes requires pettiness which renders the win sorta worthless.
