Again heres what Mike Williams looks like right now. It's really not nearly as bad as you guys think. If anything our current lineman (Samuals and Thomas) look like they're underweight.

Man, I've never seen a 400 lb guy keep that belly flab down (he must have sucked it in)! Man, this guy is really serious about starting at RT, which is very encouraging.

Who needs a line who can block when you've got guys who look like they can block!
Doc Walker was on 980 yesterday raving about how this guy looked in drills yesterday! I'm not saying he is the answer at RT...but, I am encouraged!!!
I liked him in a recent interview too. He said he planned on losing the weight and being ready for the workouts in June. He sounded real and like he meant it and had a good attitude. If nothing else we could put him in on goal line situations and he could give a strong push into the end zone. Bridges, Williams, Heyer, and Jansen sounds like a better line situation than a lot of other teams and it's got potential. Personally I think everybody should get a shot ...
1st down - Heyer
2nd down - Williams
3rd down - Jansen
4th down - Bridges

Isn't Mike Williams supposed to be agile as a cat? (there, hijack safely ended - but just by a whisker).

I am starting to believe that this guy is going to be our starter. Did anyone else see Williams on Redskins Nation. He almost knocked Dockery over with his hand punch. He looks like a mammoth man, of mostly solid muscle. If he plays Clinton will never not get a yard, when we need it. I am starting to love this guy.

I thought it was interesting that he said he was'nt very big growing up. One of the positions he played in HS was running back. He is a HUGE man, no doubt. I think he has a good chance of making the team and maybe starting.

Yeah, I thought he was a joke when I heard they signed him, but after looking at the dude, he is an absolute monster. He made dockery look like a tail back. I got pretty excited watching him. Especialy when I saw Bugel tutoring him one on one.

I like his dedication, and if he can stay healthy, we may have struck gold. I think he's been impressive so far. At least from the little I've seen of him and the reports I've read.

Ok ok i'll admit i'm starting to climb on the Mike Williams bandwagon too LOL.

...honestly I think it's all about him staying healthy and dedicated. Obviously he's got the talent and the physical gifts, but it sounds like bum injuries and a lack of focus and intensity held him back. I read in one article he just didn't commit himself to football after being drafted 4th overall...as in taking vacations instead of practicing w/ the team etc. He definitely sounds dedicated at this point and losing 60lbs over the last few months is really impressive. Hey, aren't we due a diamond in the rough on the offensive side of the ball anyway? When/who was the last one?
