One person. One person out of 6,000 some employees. He didn't even say they would win it, just that it's realistic for them to be there
Oh please, ESPN is always slobbering over:

1. Dallas
2. Tom Brady
3. Duke
4. Red Sox

Never fails, same love affairs every year.

I'm not the only one who has noticed, but I understand your defense of them.

I watch Sportscenter every day probably for the last 15 years. IMO they report the news I have never felt they favor a team or player over another.

Now with that said they are going to focus on the more popular sports stories, teams and players. If you are tuning each day in hopes for the leading story to be about JC's development in voluntary workouts in March over Duke's tournament game it is not going to happen.

If you want jaded team specific news for this area (DC) tune into CSN or MASN.

You don't have the facts I do to tell you that it's not true. Your perception isn't reality...but anyway this thread isn't about that
Then I guess Wade Phillips is their Wayne Fontes/Richie Kotite too?
Perhaps. Wade is an awsome co-ordinator but has always sucked as a HC.

As far as favoritism in the media..... I guess I'm wrong or out of line saying I think ESPN has a man crush on Dallas or that the Washington Post seems to love putting anything negative about the Skins or Dan Snyder in their paper?

If I ever wanted a more neutral media center I went to USA Today and read the paper. I used to go to the WP for all Redskins info up until about 4 yrs ago cause they had the most now I get all my info from the message boards. At least you get the positive stories along with the negative.

It's pretty bad when fans of other teams who visit this site pretty regularly are more neutral and even keeled vs. some of the media outlets. I will say that I've pretty much stopped watching "Redskins Nation" though. I still can't get past Larry sucking up to Cerrato all last season and trying to be fake posititve, or maybe it's just me not liking Larry anymore. Are there not any extremely hot women announcers out there who could do the job he does?

I will agree with the Larry statements. He is over the top postive, we could be 0-15 going into week 17 and he still be talking playoffs for the skins.

Sorry, but I gotta put Kobe Bryant up at the top with Lebron close behind. You can't watch game highlights of either team without 9 out of 10 being of them.

Barry Sims left without a contract today, but seems to be strongly considering the Skins

I think Porter is leaving contract-less as well

The other guy was Mort, and all he was said Jones is demanding a Super Bowl this year and there's a lot of pressure on the team

They cater to the masses, they are going to run clips for the guys folks want to see.

Well, with Sims it's not like he's got a bunch of options on the table. If we'll have him, he's coming.

Porter's options are strangely limited as well. I'd imagine he'll choose Arizona, eventually.
