Re: Cousins Open to Trade.
Shanny is long gone, and Schefter has plenty of other sources.
How many times did Cousins get sacked in those 3 starts?
5 times if I am not mistaken, but he was hit a lot more than that. |
Per Adam Schefter via Twitter: "Redskins have no plans nor interest in trading QB Kirk Cousins, per league sources. He's not going anywhere."
I figured as much. Cousins will probably be gone before or by draft time. |

Connor Shaw UDFA hell yeah!!!!

Very doubtful he goes undrafted. He would be a good project QB, though. I still think we need to sign Stephen Morris as a UDFA. He's athletic, strong-armed, and can make any throw. He just needs to be more consistent. |
Re: Cousins Open to Trade.
If KC is dealt, what are our options? I think the best FA QB is Vick. There will be a market for him, just not sure if it will be as a starter. Wouldn't mind seeing him come here to back up RG3.

I wouldn't mind it either, except that the price tag would be too high for a backup. My first choice would be Colt McCoy. |

Cousins is a project....he played like it.....getting even a third rounder for him is a dream......

This, in my opinion is rubbish. I still think we will get a 3rd and 4th rounder for him, maybe a 2nd. |
Re: Cousins Open to Trade.
Does anyone think Cousins can be better than Andy Dalton under Gruden?

I think he IS dalton under gruden basically. |
Re: Cousins Open to Trade.
Still, it sounds like Cousins has a plan for politely pushing the issue. “I’m gonna communicate my desire to play in a classy way,” Cousins said. “I don’t want to do it in a way that’s gonna hurt our organization or reflect poorly on me or the team. But yeah, I absolutely want to play, and that’s not a complicated fact. But we’ll see what happens. We’ll see what’s in the cards. And if I’m not good enough, I’ve got to accept that, but all I’m looking for is that chance.”

I think someone from the front office needs to give his agent a call and tell him to stop talking. Nothing wrong with wanting to play, but I do believe that he needs to stop doing all these interviews and just be quiet. At this point in time, he's a backup and needs to act like it. Be seen and not heard. Let your play in spring practices do your talking for you. |

I do. He has a stronger arm, better mobility, throws a better deep ball and has a little bit better mobility. He just needs to play and get experience/reps. |
