good thing we have brunell for what, another 7 years under contract?

monk81 10-03-2004 04:07 PM

Oh they switched to the Redskins game now that the Gints one.......saw the Coles play...........SHTTTT!!!

MTK 10-03-2004 04:07 PM

I can't believe we lost to the f'in browns, wtf

diesl44 10-03-2004 04:07 PM

the ravens will smash us next week ....

Jamaican'Skin 10-03-2004 04:07 PM

We're 1- 3. What is really going on?

Daseal 10-03-2004 04:07 PM

We have no one to blame this one on.

It'll be a short winter for us it looks like. If we can't find our offense against the Browns, it's not working. If our offense could play half as well as our defence we'd be set!

ZackMills 10-03-2004 04:08 PM

why is a finesse Rb in a power running scheme?

diesl44 10-03-2004 04:08 PM

well one things for sure i aint traveling down from nj to the stadium to see this shit on the field ..............

Bozzy 10-03-2004 04:09 PM
why is a finesse Rb in a power running scheme?
good question, nobody knows

LRT 10-03-2004 04:09 PM

It's not coaching. It's turnovers and execution on the field. We're burning time outs because the offense isn't executing. And take away Portis' fumble and Coles' fumble and we win. These guys need to keep working on fundamentals and that takes time. Patience.

Bozzy 10-03-2004 04:09 PM

I just hope some miracle happens and they beat the Ravens. I live too close to baltimore.

Daseal 10-03-2004 04:09 PM

Bozzy, DARE YOU QUESTION GIBBS THE MAKER AND CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE? If you have doubts you must be on the wrong board. He automatically turned the team around. We had a better record last year.

Gmanc711 10-03-2004 04:10 PM
Screwed twice in two games near the sidelines
Yeah, whatever though. We deserved to lose this game. If the Browns were the eagles today, it would have been 20-0. I'm trying to give our defense some credit in that score, but the Eagles are about 5 touchdowns better than we are. Hell the Giants are 3 better than we are.

Jamaican'Skin 10-03-2004 04:10 PM

What needs to change? Does Gibbs need to get on the field himself and do everything?

Big C 10-03-2004 04:10 PM

cant believe this shit. one of the worst teams in the league right now. cant even throw the ball to gardner after his awesome game

Gmanc711 10-03-2004 04:11 PM

I want to quit being a Redskins fan. I'm so sick of putting all this time into this shit and getting fucking embaressed each week. Thats what today was, flat out embaressing.

jdlea 10-03-2004 04:11 PM

Brunell Sucks ASS!

Mark Brunell: the worst starting QB in the NFL and he came as advertised. Accept it. I was right!

Jamaican'Skin 10-03-2004 04:12 PM
I want to quit being a Redskins fan
I wouldn't go that far. Maybe not a 'Skins fan for today

SKINS73 10-03-2004 04:13 PM

if anyone scores more than 20 points agaisnt the skins they'll win the game! It looks like we better get use to the basement

Gmanc711 10-03-2004 04:13 PM

If I were the defense, I would walk right into that locker room and start kciking the offense's ass.

drew54 10-03-2004 04:14 PM

*vomit*

redwagonskins 10-03-2004 04:15 PM

Go Senators!

LRT 10-03-2004 04:16 PM

You know, I was a Skins fan when we got cheated out of the playoffs in Dallas by the refs under Pardee and the following year when they stank under Pardee. I was a Skins fan when Gibbs was 0 - 5 and people were saying they wanted Pardee back.

I think everyone has underestimated how bad this team was as a team. Everyone blamed it on Spurrier - and I think he deserves blame - but what someone did on another team before they came here doesn't count. This was a lousy team last year, with or without Spurrier. And the only mistake I think people have made this year, including myself, is thinking that Gibbs could turn a lousy team into a great one in one camp. Ain't going to happen. However, they will get better. The problems we see are correctable and I have confidence that Gibbs and his staff are working on them. That alone is different from last year when Spurrier didn't even seem to care, and neither did the players.

My two cents.

bedlamVR 10-03-2004 04:18 PM

The defence is not doing its job either to allow a piss poor team like the browns to score on is just as bad as the job the O is doing.

Jamaican'Skin 10-03-2004 04:18 PM

Well the wheels have officially fallen off. 'Skins nee a miracle

Gmanc711 10-03-2004 04:18 PM

Brunell must throw away 50% of his passes

Bozzy 10-03-2004 04:19 PM

Hey I just wanna give a shoutout to all those who predicted a 56-7 skins win!

Of course even I was off...27-7 didnt happen.
lol

I thought under Gibbs we'd cut down on penalties and turnovers........
little did I know..................... :soapbox: I thought professionals knew how to CATCH passes, guess I expected too much.........Howie is right.............no business losing this game..........
SOMEWHERE Kellen Winslow Jr is smilling.................. :screama:

Jamaican'Skin 10-03-2004 04:20 PM

I stopped predicting thinking I was jynxing the team. Guess I wasn't the only one

Daseal 10-03-2004 04:21 PM

SOmeone blamed our defense? You must be kidding. If it weren't for our defense we'd be blown out every game.

exit0 10-03-2004 04:22 PM

Until these players give a crap about winning, it ain't gonna happen. The Eagles, Giants and Cowboys all go out there wanting to win the game. I don't see this with this team, even with Gibbs and the new coaches. Pick up their fat paychecks and don't care if they win or lose.... and I don't want to hear Gibbs saying how the players busted ass all game. Mentally these players are not there... I'm so tired of seeing all these Skins teams looking so great on paper and playing so lousy on the field.

Jamaican'Skin 10-03-2004 04:23 PM

Maybe we should start making Chunky Soup commercials like the Iggles

That Guy 10-03-2004 04:25 PM
Maybe we should start making Chunky Soup commercials like the Iggles
we'd have to win first...

I don't think it's so much the soup as the team mom.........that's what we need........it Snyder is willing to pay for a ref in the booth, he should pay for a team mom to read bed time stories and to watch the players diet.......

Thanks for a smile Jamaican Skin............

Jamaican'Skin 10-03-2004 04:26 PM

Had to try and lighten the mood

Exactly. The Skins lack desire.

LRT 10-03-2004 04:29 PM

I agree that they lack desire. Unfortunately, that's the hardest thing to change. But perseverence and patience are the only solution. The worst thing we could do is contemplate another major shakeup - that's part of the reason we have this attitude in the first place...

Jamaican'Skin 10-03-2004 04:33 PM

I think Gibbs will help Snyder keep a cool head, so I doubt that there are gonna be any major trades or anything like that

Jamaican'Skin 10-03-2004 04:39 PM

Looks like we over- hyped this season

bedlamVR 10-03-2004 05:24 PM

Whats the difference between a blow out and a four point loss.. a loss is a loss. Defence should be winning games but it isn't.

All aspects of the team are failing coaching, offence, defence and special teams BUT this is a process and it is the chopping and changing things around which has got us into this mess. If Gibbs cannot motivate these players then I am at a loss to think who can.

Anyone thinking Spurrier would be winning here right now maybe wasn't watching the team last year and may have missed the news flash that he walked out.
