yep!! He hasnt been touched!!

At least we get the ball back at the start of the half.

If they score again I'm afraid we'll have to abandon the run and then its anyone's guess as to what will happen

Gano always misses to the right. Earth to Gano line up a few dergrees to your left.
Haslett is nervous and really showing it. Not what a leader should be doing.
I do not like the secondary play so far. Where is Haynesworth? Where is Wilson? Why is Carter playing so much. Has he had a tackle?

I swear, both Kyle and McNabb can't follow a ball control philosophy at all. Feed Torain the freaking rock.

Then again, we have Vinny to thank for our underpowered fat boys.
We have been lucky this year with a log of missed FGs by opposing kickers. That trend can't keep up all year.
Our kicker missed a FG to which we could have been down by only 7points.
Why Galloway and no Armstrong on that series when Armstrong was catching everything early?
Here is another good question - why is Fred Davis never given a chance in this offense? Another wasted pick from 2008.

Well at least we're still in position to make a run... this game easily could be 28-7 right now.... We're down 10, we were last week, so at least we're still in position to have a shot...

I, for one, am glad we only have to play Manning once every 4 years.

Yeah haven't heard Landry or Fletcher's name much yet either

He's too good. Knows how to handle our D...hurry-up all day long. We need 7 to open up the second half.
We still need to run the ball and use screens to slow down the Colts pass rush to get back in this game. Sure hope someone on offense can get them going like last week.
Torain is a keeper. We have found a decent replacement for Portis. I think we are going to see CP phased out a tad when he comes back. I hope he comes back 100%, and somehow can get back some of the magic, but I think his days as a starter are numbered.

It's just hard for 2 TE's to get many catches, look at Dallas with Bennett. Cooley is just better but Fred is also a Starter in the NFL. One of those guys won't be in DC next season

Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread

If our offense actually would score points we would be tied or even in the lead. Our defense can only hold the Colts to FG so many times.

skins89moss 10-17-2010 10:07 PM

Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread

We need a TD by our special teams or defense will need to score for us to have a chance to win tonight. Our offense is still to inconsistent to depend on to score points

Manning is going to force Haslett into blitzing because our 4 man rush is doing nothing much to him thanks to the no huddle strategy.

I don't see how 46 isn't the number 1 even when CP comes back

I can see Shanny next season giving Torain the bulk of the carries and having CP come in to give Ryan a rest.

Unless someone gets hurt like last season. I just can not believe that we can't find a way to give Davis some touches he is a better runner after the catch and Cooley.

True, but I think you will see a dual type system when he does, just to give Ryan a rest. I can see it Torain two thirds of the carries Portis a third or something close to that ratio.

Well at least they didn't go 3 and out.

Still don't understand this team's philosophy...you have two over aggressive DEs...third and short....just throw the dump off pass. Oh well, I guess easier said than done.

Trent has to do a better job than that! He outweighs Freeney by 50-60 Lbs yet was pushed around like a little girl there.
