Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
i also dont hate the sharpton signing. sounds like a lorenzo type guy that can be servicable (albeit limited) in the middle.

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
I kind of wish we would have made a push for D R-C. Denver can't hang on to him now that they offered Talib all that dough.
Probably content at CB now though - until the draft - with the addition of Porter. |

Nice little read and for the record I like our approach prove it contracts plus the draft.
He goofed on Lauvao being from Cincy. |

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Browner and Munnerlyn still out there.
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Sign Browner and move him to safety. Receivers would be scared to death to come over the middle against us. He's top notch on ST's, as well.
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Anthony Spencer is still at Redskins Park.
Man I would like to sign this cat. He can provide some pressure |

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
FWIW..... Ari Nissim (ex Jets front office) tweets he is hearing Hatcher is heading to Washington
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
munnerlyn signed with the vikes. another one gone.
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Cortland Finnegan anyone?
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
I will take him
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Hatcher is a Redskin
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Hatcher is a SKIN per Chris Russell.
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Hopefully Hatcher can show Geathers how a BIG MAN is suppose to play.
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Why all the DE's???
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Finally a name. Hatcher came off a great year, good vet, nice job Bruce
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
I had a friend text me this,I cant confirm it anywhere but if its true it would be the first move Im happy with that they have made

Well with Carriker gone and possibly Bowen (don't know if he's gone yet), they want to add depth to the front three. |

damn, was kinda hoping he didnt get shot. Bruce coulda signed him and plugged him right into Left Guard |
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
I love the Hatcher signing! He is a force! Definite upgrade.

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
package deal with Spencer ? I think they have the same agent
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
4 x 27.5 million for Hatcher.
|

Yeah that sounds like a lot wonder how much guaranteed. |
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Why all the DE's???
Making sure Dallas either pays blood money for JPeppers or has even scrubbier scrubs than us for their DLine next year. |
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Nice! Get Spencer and we have a nice little front.
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
So so maybe Hatcher and Cofield as DEs and Baker as NT? Or if we go four d-line, Hatcher and Cofield inside with Rak and Kerrigan on the outside? I like both situations.
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
We got some beef and height on D, I like it!!
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
So Bowen is most likely a goner with this signing.
Of course if we can get Spencer than he is definitely out the door, and I wouldn't expect Cariker back either. But hey these guys are upgrades to what we have. |
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Hatcher played on the right side in Dallas. If he stays there, that would put him next to Rak. Word to the NFC East QB's: DUCK!
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Seemed like we could never ever get Hatcher blocked whenever we played Dallas. He's been around a while, seems like a 2 year rental year type of player. He can help cave in the pocket. He's exactly the type of guy we need. Good move Redskins!
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Hope we keep Bowen. We need as many bodies as possible.
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Hatcher was so, so good last season.
He's never really been as good prior to that, and Dallas switched their scheme to the Kiffin/Marinelli base last year. Prior to that, he played end in the 3-4 and was kinda forgettable. This move is pretty similar to the Bowen move, although the player is much older. |
4 x 27.5 million for Hatcher.
We could have gotten Linval Joseph for cheaper, put him at nose and slipped Cofield out to end, and gotten more bang for our lesser buck. But at least we did something to improve the pass rush for the DL. |
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
I think Golston might be the goner instead of Bowen who was a beast the previous year.
|

Doubt that. The man had 11 sacks last season. |
