Fixed it for u bro |
Re: Dwayne Haskins
I still loved that game when Colt came in and beat the Cowboys on Monday Night.
I had hope for him as a backup after he helped win that game, in front of his family. But he just doesn't have it. I'd rather have a year of Haskins learning how to be a QB in the NFL, then watch Colt or Keenum win us a game or two more in the season then if Dwayne plays. Haskins needs the experience! |
Re: Dwayne Haskins
IMO I would sit him and let him learn for the first half of season at least. IMO I think Haskins is a poor pick at qb. Much better class next year...once again Bruce and Dan have made a QB decision
What’s their record at QB?
Chico with all types of wins in this thread. |

Man, amazing how things change. |
Re: Dwayne Haskins
Best case scenario for me for next weekend:
WFT wins, Giants lose, Eagles lose, and Haskins plays the final game of the season. I need to see more before I can write him off. The turnovers today sucked, but the second half was nice. |

I actually saw good decision making after all the bad decisions of the 1st half, decisiveness and confidence, it’s like the light came on. I honestly feel like something has clicked in his brain, I hope I’m not wishful thinking. Unfortunately it ended with our injured RT giving up back to back sacks. If Thomas catches that end zone pass from Haskins people would be praising him. |

I didn’t get to see the game, just watched a 12 minute highlight show on YouTube of the game, and when you watch that it sure makes it look like Haskins had a good game(minus the 2 ints) I thought Haskins looked good, made some nice throws, but what do I know |
Re: Dwayne Haskins
Can't take away the 2 INTs, those were bad. He did catch fire in the 2nd half but it was too little too late. Bottom line is Alex is clearly the better option. DH is still very much a work in progress.

Yeah I am glad he actually showed some promise though but his turnovers are always just so damn bad. It’s like he doesn’t even see the defense at all. That’s why you can’t trust the college tape as much as you’d like. His Film was as good as it gets from OSU. |
Re: Dwayne Haskins
The uptempo style brings out the best in Haskins. OSU used that A LOT, almost half the time during DH's senior year when he was so successful and was a Heisman finalist. DH tend to find himself when he plays at that fast pace as was evident in yesterday's second half against the Seahawks. I do not have much confidence in Scott Tuner as an OC. Certainly we would be better off if DH can success and we can use that first round pick in 2021 on someone like Davonte Smith. Imagine having him paired with McLaurin.

2020: DH - 6 games (5 starts), 5 TDs, 5 INTs AS - 7 games (5 starts), 4 TDs, 6 INTs |

Yep. And if you look at the INTs, most of Alex's were tipped balls or the receiver falling down (McKissic vs Giants). Dwayne's INTs were ugly throws right to a defender or three. |

I agree. W-L record is the most important, and I have said that. The team has won more than not with Alex at QB. However, I'm talking about turnovers, since that seems to be the measuring stick for DH. |

The first INT yesterday was a tipped ball too, and a fantastic diving catch by the DB. The second INT - he thought Reed was going to stay with McLaurin, but he came back and undercut the throw. There were not three defenders around either INT. Seattle's DBs made two great plays. |

That happens when you stare down your receiver the entire time. Go to the wide-open Barber and he gets to at least the 30. https://twitter.com/MarkBullockNFL/status/1340748973305434112 |

https://twitter.com/MarkBullockNFL/status/1340748973305434112
He was definitely staring down Sims on the 2nd INT. Barber was the safe throw. The more I look at the 1st INT, the more I think it was Wright who F'd that play up. He was too deep on his route, and tipped the pass to Griffin. Otherwise Sims catches that ball on the 5. |
Re: Dwayne Haskins
Im having a hard time, since week 1, trying to decide how much Turner scales down the playbook with Haskins. What percent of Haskins limitations is him not seeing things vs not getting the chance bc we call a watered down playbook for him? if that makes any sense.
Come week 17, if we win next week and Giants lose .... lets open up the playbook for Haskins and see what happens. |

Yep, been thinking the same thing. He needs to hit the weight room though, gain another 15-20 lbs. |
Re: Dwayne Haskins
I don't think Haskins is the answer to our quarterback needs nor will he last in the NFL. Many years ago there was a quarterback from USC, Matt Leinart, that was drafted #1 by the Arizona Cardinals. He was a Heisman Trophy candidate, consensus all American with tons of ability, was projected to have a stellar career and was labeled a sure fire Hall of Famer. He didn't last long. He couldn't get away from the girls, partying and being the BMOC. That's the direction I think Haskins will go. He doesn't have the abilities that Leinart had but does have the same party mentality. That mentality does not last long in the NFL. IMO, he is deadwood and the Skins need to get ride of him.

From what I’m reading on reddit it’s confirmed this is Haskins and it’s not old video.I did not see the video just pictures, but apparently in the video you can hear the TV and it’s discussing Stephen Gilmore’s injury so you know what just happened. It also says this is not a bunch of strippers, this was Haskins girlfriend’s birthday party and she Flew in a bunch of her girlfriends. Apparently she is followed by Alex Smith’s wife and some Other people associated with the Redskins on her social media account, and now that video has been deleted. So it’s not as bad as it sounds if it would’ve been strippers, but still irresponsible. And apparently there’s one very cringe worthy scene where they are watching the recorded game where the skins are down 20-6 and she kisses the tv screen as a kiss to Haskins |

Re: Dwayne Haskins
If this is indeed Haskins after Seattle game and they start him Sunday vs Carolina then I’ve got to question has anything really changed at all ... yes we have a very good D .. yes we have a chance to win a very bad division .. however you have a coach who battled cancer and Alex who made a miracle comeback and you are so damn immature you are gonna risk your health and teammates and coaches to hang with strippers??? Yea and he probably thinks they really like him ... I would cut him today .. I’m over Haskins
