Well to me an "acceptable age" is 21 or 22.
But there are many, many girls out here that have kids from 14-17. I do mean MANY. So yes, you could be his mother.
As yourself this (you don't need to tell us), imagine if the first time you had sex, you got pregnant, then imagine how old that kid would be now assuming you got pregnant from it.

How about those that are depressed and take too many pills by accident, but they took them to leave reality and they overdose?

It's very rare that they hire on the spot. And job fairs are usually for pretty entry level jobs/internships.

But it's good to go, dress well, take several copies of your resume, and make contacts. That's the key-make contacts.
