Ok, all those bands sucked. They were more glam than hair metal, except for Quiet Riot. They were just retarded. I was into Queensryche, Tesla, Skid Row, Scorpions, etc...etc. |
I was talking about having a child at an acceptable age... 18+
Work with me here jsarno!
Well to me an "acceptable age" is 21 or 22. But there are many, many girls out here that have kids from 14-17. I do mean MANY. So yes, you could be his mother. As yourself this (you don't need to tell us), imagine if the first time you had sex, you got pregnant, then imagine how old that kid would be now assuming you got pregnant from it. My kid would be 19 if that were true. |
Re: The Never Ending Thread
my kid would be 5. But I cant get pregnant.

I did really like Poison though. How can you not like every rose has its thorn? There is no such thing as an overrated band. They are either well liked or they are not. |

SS, Did you pop your collar in the 80's? By naming the bands you did, one would be inclined to think that. ;)

Re: The Never Ending Thread
How many places have you been for more than a month?
Here, VA, PA, Fort Hood, Fort Campbell, Fort Sill, Fort Gordon, Ft Stewart, Ft Irwin, Germany, Greece, France, Bosnia, Israel, Kuwait, and Hungary What did you do while you were there (everything)? Everything I have ever done in my life. How Many things have you done over the course of your life? Too many to count, but much of it comes up in conversation, but everything cannot possibly be covered in the course of a few months. My wife still learns something new from time to time. How many times did you move in the past 9 years? 8 going on 9 How many different schools did you attend in your entire life? 10 Not including colleges (3); attending 2 non collegiate schools on more than one occaision. How many friends do you have? 2 How many aquaintences do you have? Too many to count What is the point of this? Think about what you could do if you don't just go through the motions of life and stay in one place. |
He only gives you what He knows you can handle.
I've heard that before. What qualifies as what you can't handle? Do people that committ suicide have things in their life that they can't handle? How about those that are depressed and take too many pills by accident, but they took them to leave reality and they overdose? I am just not sure of that anymore. I am not sure He is there listening to me anymore. You pray and you pray, and it seems I am on my own. |

Re: The Never Ending Thread
1- How many places have you been for more than a month?
Billerica, MA, Searcy, AR, Carlsbad, NM 2- What did you do while you were there (everything)? Everything 2- How Many things have you done over the course of your life? Too many to count. 3- How many times did you move in the past 9 years? 3 4- How many different schools did you attend in your entire life? 4 (k-12), 5 different colleges, so 9 total. 5- How many friends do you have? Depends on what you consider a friend. If you're talking about a great friend that you KNOW will be there no matter what, then 1. 6- How many aquaintences do you have? Too many to count 7- What is the point of this? Good question...hoping Angry will fill us in. |

I'm considering attending one next week in Denver. It's a very big one. I have never gone to one and don't know what to expect, or what to do. Do they interview on the spot? Can you really get a job that way? |

They do interview on the spot and I would bring my resume if I were you and you can get a job that way. |

They will actually hire you on the spot too? |
Re: The Never Ending Thread
It's very rare that they hire on the spot. And job fairs are usually for pretty entry level jobs/internships.
But it's good to go, dress well, take several copies of your resume, and make contacts. That's the key-make contacts. |
Re: The Never Ending Thread
They will actually hire you on the spot too?
in some cases but like SS said it is very rare, but they are mostly for entry level positions. |
