Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread 3.0

Should the team seek a 3rd QB to finish the preseason w/ no hope to make the team or know the playbook? I guess I've answered my question.
Does a guy like Seneca Wallace help the WR's better demonstrate their skills more so than white ?
Perhaps now we can make lemonade and evaluate Thompson, Jamison and focus on the run game and not waste carries on KWilliams or Royster who we know what they can do.

no. 1 fear - the serpent

no. 2 - public speaking

Nice renovations they've done to Redskins park.

I've listened to a few former athletes like that on the NFL Network!!!!

Decent read, but of import is that Griffin has taken full speed reps against the ones. That's good progress. I wonder how the reps are getting split now? I don't think we will find much out, but I can't imagine Rex or PWhite getting many first team reps, even though they will probably get all the playing time the next two games. Good chance for both to put tape out there. Heck if PWhite could somehow put enough on tape, maybe the Skins could get a 6th or 7th round pick, from a qb hungry team.

Less than 3 weeks to MNF :headbanger:

Pat White was cut from the Virginia Destroyers of the UFL. I doubt any NFL team is going to trade for him. Especially given that they know he will be cut.

I doubt it too, however, if he does put tape out there, there are teams that will make odd trades. I don't say it thinking it's highly likely, but did you think we would get anything for Haynesworth, or McNabb? Bruce Allen is good at getting something for "nothing".

I cant say I knew we would, but getting something for people who have had success previously is not that far fetched. A fair amount werent blaming McNabb and Haynesworth, they were blaming Shanny for those problems.

Big difference between getting a late round pick for the likes of McNabb or Haynesworth vs Pat White. I can't see White generating any trade interest.

Everyone knows that we will cut White. Therefore there is little reason for other teams to offer anything in a trade.

So Keim goes to ESPN and all they let him do is write articles about RG's knee?

Bottom line with RG3 is week one. If he can pick where left off pre injury and build on that, all will be good. If he doesn't and struggles then there will be more drama. There's probably some truth to what Jaws is saying. We'll see week one.
