Ketchup with steak? LOL!!!! If the steak is a good cut and it's prepared right, one should never need any dressing for it other than maybe a bit of vinegar marinade over top.

Speaking of steaks, I'm actually going to Outback tomorrow night. I'm ready.

i understand the general consensus about steak and any type of sauce, but, eat a steak however the fuck you want to eat it.

if you like your steak well done w ketchup, have at it. if you like your steak rare w only salt and pepper, that's swell, too.

if you're looking over your shoulder to see how you should be enjoying your own goddamned food (or anything else for that matter), you lost, bruh.
Amen. Ribeye, plenty of salt & pepper, and slammed with the highest heat humanly possible. 3 minutes per side. Horseradish sauce on the side.

My God I'm hungry now.
I did that tonight for the wife and myself, but substitute ribeye for porterhouse

Another great cut. The bone adds so much flavor if you get the heat up to scorching.

My 7 year old daughter's favorite food is steak. For her birthday last year she asked for a "rib face" steak. I was like do you mean rib eye? She goes no I want it big like my face.

lol

I actually call violation if you're marinating your steak. Unless it's a top round london broil which needs to be broken down by some acid to tenderize, any chef worth his salt will tell you don't fuck with the shit before cooking.

Salt and pepper. Then cook it.

I don't care what sauce you put on it after, but if you're marinating a rib eye then come sit on my lap, son, we need to talk.

Ribeye is my favorite but I kinda pissed my wife off last week and to get off the cold shoulder I got her the porterhouse which is her favorite. Salt and Cayenne pepper

Telling others how to live their life? You might as well join the crusades bruh.

I see the only people that like talking about their steaks are the ones that like them rare, or med-rare.

Without trying to sound all high and mighty, I on the other hand prefer eating cooked meat (yes I'm aware there's less flavor and it's less tender.) Yes med-rare is good but I prefer any kind of beef at least semi-cooked so I usually go with medium. Some Chicago-style A1 on the side and I'm good to go.

Medium's my preference too. But yeah dude there totally is a right and wrong when it comes to steak. Try to tell Bobby Flay that marinating a rib eye is the way to go and he'll smack you in the mouf.
