Re: Around the NFL - FA tampering/start

i agree with you on that's more than you would expect.. but Would you do this if that's what they offered ???
and there have been more crazy deals done than this ..
Yes. It's too much for me to turn down. Even then I'd feel I had made a mistake if I wasn't able to land either Penix or McCarthy (I feel that Maye would be gone by #10).
I feel like Maye, for whatever reason, is going to be the guy that drops way way down and people are going to be like Maye is still sitting in the Green Room Maye is still sitting in the Green Room Crazy dream{?) scenario: trade down to minnesota take top tackle @ 10 take top de @ 23 Trade back into the first to 29 and take Maye edit - Maye goes on to be legendary (since it's a crazy talk) Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk |
Re: Around the NFL - FA tampering/start
if i'm washington i would trade the #2 pick to vikings for a haul .. it would look like this
minnesota gets washington 2024 1st round pick 2cnd overall .. Washington receives Minnesota 2024 1st round pick 10th overall , 2024 1st round pick 23rd overall , 2024 2cnd round, 2025 1st round .. would you do this ?? keep in mind it's going to be Maye or Daniels .. are they worth what we could get ..
Vikings already traded their 24 2d round pick to move to 23 overall. Throw in the 26 1st and the 25 2d and I'd think about it. (figure we get the overall #1 next year as we wouldn't have a QB what is next years QBs looking like?). |

Bye bye Slye....

The Saints are out of their minds...
Adam Schefter Comp update: Free-agent DE Chase Young plans to sign a one-year, fully guaranteed $13 million deal with the New Orleans Saints, per sources.
|
Re: Around the NFL - FA tampering/start
best of luck to them. Honestly, he is one of the best DEs left, but, to be fair, there's not many FAs left. Is clowney asking for too much?
The Saints are out of their minds...
Does that mean San Fran will get a compensatory pick for Chase Young? that would tick me off.

that is exactly why you don't trade up for CW; the hype is just hype it don't mean shit until you step on that NFL grass CY was considered more of a home run then CW; he was the next great thing and produced poop |

So if they signed someone of equal value it balances out. The Vikings will probably get a 3rd rounder next year because Kirk signed that huge deal with the Falcons and the Vikings didn't spend nearly that much on anyone. |

Regarding Young, he would never show up for mini camps. Never do the extra work on his craft or team building within the defense. When asked why he didn’t/wouldn’t report for minicamps and such, his reply would be “I’m a business man baby”, alluding to outside team activities. In other words, he’s all about the bag, but not about the work. Now we have Williams, who has already made public statements (and walked them back) about which teams he won’t play for, and he wants ownership stake in whoever drafts him. Couple that with immature public displays both on and off the field, (crying in his mama’s arms after a loss. Painted nails. Dress wearing. Etc. ) I personally don’t think he’s built to succeed in the NFL. In fact, he looks primed to flame out epically. |
Re: Around the NFL - FA tampering/start
Now CY is out with neck surgery; great signing NO
|
Re: Around the NFL - FA tampering/start
Fuck CY, on his 3rd team already, talking about how he wanted a winning culture so that's why he signed in New Orleans, dude you were just on a SB team WTF are you talking about. Signs a contract and heads right to surgery, FFS.
