It must be nice having a FG kicker you can depend on.

Serious question, who was the last FG kicker you all remember feeling safe with?
Lohmiller.

Re: Falcons @ Redskins Gameday Thread

So we haven't had a safe kicker since the 80's-90's.

Le sigh.

It's not popular to say I'm sure...but I think we have quite a revisionist history of Lohmiller

I think against the right team Morris could come close to having a 200 yard game.

4 minutes left. Drive down the field. Take the FG. Meh. Cundiff's miss comes back to bite us again.

Re: Falcons @ Redskins Gameday Thread

This what happens when your offense only puts up 3 points and doesn't convert on 3rd downs. Your defense gets worn out and the potent offense takes over.

Re: Falcons @ Redskins Gameday Thread

Same old 'skins... stop the run all day then get gashed when we need a stop the.most....

We saw what a good team does in crunch time.

DynamiteRave 10-07-2012 03:53 PM

Re: Falcons @ Redskins Gameday Thread

Oh well. Man. You can't go 0-8 on 3rd downs and win games.

Nope

punch it in 10-07-2012 03:54 PM

The difference between our d having a good game and a real d having a good game is 31 points or so.

Well season's over for the Skins, Wizards are gonna go 0-82, Nats gonna get swept by the Cardinals and finish in the cellar next year, and Ovechkin torn ACL, MCL, PCL, to end his career

bingo

WilbursHomie 10-07-2012 03:55 PM

Defense is so worn down at this point from lack of offensive possession time.
