Like this: Second-year cornerback Richard Crawford did more than change his number this offseason, as he has stepped up his game in the secondary. During 11-on-11 drills in the red zone, Crawford tipped a pass intended for Santana Moss that would have been caught for a touchdown. Secondary coach Raheem Morris ran over to slap high-fives with Crawford, pleased with the play. Head coach Mike Shanahan praised the sophomore's work ethic, saying Crawford was in excellent shape and had applied himself in the film room to improve his instincts in Year 2. The most flattering accolade was when Shanahan compared him to a young London Fletcher in terms of professionalism and demeanor |

Loved the notes about Crawford and Hankerson.

I took a 3hr ride from NYC to TC last year and said I wouldn't make the longer 7hr drive to the new TC location. I will be eating those words I'm going to this years TC. HTTR.

Speaking of the media, thanks for posting a link to John Keim's work. He's by far the best Skins beat reporter around and I keep wondering who will snatch him up since the Examiner is shutting down its sports section. He provide actual insight into strategy, performance, and player development. The Post would be smart to grab him since their current "Insiders" just tend to put out fluff pieces and re-post stories from other outlets. |

Adam Carriker....is he going to be ready for the start of the season?
Outside of RG3...he is my biggest injury concern. |

Agreed, like I said I don't care what the white and black dominated media has to say on the matter. Honestly I don't care if 7% of Indians are offended by the name. If we go around trying to please everyone all the time we all might as well be mute, drive the same car that is the same color, and all where matching clothes each day of the week. Back to football, definitely like what we heard out of OTAs yesterday regarding Hank and Crawford. Any news on the new secondary players? |
Re: Official Redskins Off-Season News & Rumors-Part Trois
So.....
What say the mob when it comes to Donovan's message and request to sit down with III and II? Washington Post I would say that it may have been a possibility until Donovan put how he feels about III's actions over the offseason in the local DC paper. I also don't know how he can say he wouldn't try to poison the coach player relationship when he condemns MS twice in a published article. Stay away from McNabb III, he may have had some knowledge for your before but now he still sounds bitter towards the kid. I also don't think McNabb and his dad need to tell III and II anything. Just let him do it trough the media.... |

Can't argue luck, he's the real deal. Both r great

Re: Official Redskins Off-Season News & Rumors-Part Trois
Yeah I am not mad about that. I also think if III hadn't hurt himself or was more durable through his first year, he would have been #1.
I think it's interesting that people seem to think now that III had more weapons, when I this time last year the debate was centered around they both havin equal talent to work with for the most part. If we had indy's d through the first 9 games I also think we would have had a better record, but I neither here nor there considering we don't know what there d would have done against our opponents and vice versa. |
We had Morris but they had Wayne. Then everyone else was about even. Garcon is good but he was hurt most of the yr

It's common sense that it will shorten his career, period. But while the results are there I think a lot of media types will hold back criticism. The rest of it was the real meat and potatoes, but I don't think his dad laid any information in the coaching staff that they didn't already know. As far as te kid spending time at redskins park and with his teammates all you have to do is read everything written about what he has been doing in the offseason and where he spends all of his time to see that is exactly what he is doing. I know you read Goat, it's all out there. |
