The reality is that the most likely, available, qb would be Sam Bradford.

So they say, Bradford had not been able to practice for 5 weeks due to knee injury. Cardinals team person who is anonymous said that Bradford's knee is a bone on bone condition, as he has no more remaining cartilage from all of his previous ACL surgeries. Even if he is willing to play with pain like that, would he even pass a team physical?

The only cancer surrounding Kaep is the white people that have their jimmies rustled about kneeling for the anthem. He's very well liked among his peers.

Don't know. It's a warm body. Of course, we could always deal with the Ravens and bring RGIII back (and then Metalskins farts, snickers, and runs away!)

You never want to see someone get hurt, and my prayers are with Smith, but this offense will be MUCH better with McCoy running it. Smith’s play since coming here has been garbage

I want out 3rd pick, Fuller and the $111 million back

We lost because the NFL cheated us and made us lose our last 2 timeouts.

Then as a cherry on top they didn't call a clear PI which was way more of a penalty than the Norman phantom call.

I don't give two shits about that, I care because he's been out of the game for multiple years. I'd rather bring in a guy that has been around the game within the last year (no Bradford plz).

His adopted parents are white and rich. He was never oppressed. I don’t know how it ever became a race thing....imo if you kneel at our flag then you’re a POS, however that is their right.....but it doesn’t make it “right”

Kaep isn’t coming here. Pretty sure Snyder would rather cut his own hand off and he’s got enough drama with just keeping the team name. NFL owners are doing a bang up job blackballing Kaep out the league anyway. He’s not on anyone’s radar.

Kaepernick knelt at first because he was pissed about being benched, not because of social injustice....he just had to make up a good reason he knelt and everyone ran with it...once again making him relevant

Once again making him relevant? I think regardless of his stance on anything, he was already relevant as an NFL player and a QB who started in a Super Bowl. Could you say the same? Regardless of whether you think he was right or wrong for kneeling, like you said, he has that right as an American. But if you believe that he knelt only because of being benched, then i truly feel sorry for you.

Can we please get the thread back on topic? I apologize if we have steered it off course with the Kaepernick debate. He is truly a hot button issue still.

He didn’t kneel until he was benched, where was the kneeling when he couldn’t do any wrong? If you feel like he was kneeling just for social injustice, then I feel like you are very wrong.

First time ai ever heard that...are you sure? The way I remember it washe started kneeling to protest police brutality against minorities, which IMO is a real issue.

According to white people, police brutality against minorities isn't an issue. If they'd just follow every cop's order to the letter, nothing bad would ever happen.

I didn’t say he knelt to protest being benched.....I said he didn’t stand because he was benched. It’s pretty easy to see that he didn’t start doing it until he was benched.

It doesn't matter LOL he ain't coming here. I'm glad McCoy is our starting QB now. Too bad it happened this way, because honestly the way Smith was playing he deserved to get benched.

If McCoy goes down it may not matter who is the next QB, since at that point we would be done for sure

Maybe you need to do a little research on the guy before playing the race card.

He did get benched before kneeling. When he got benched for poor play he demanded a trade. He also wore socks to practice depicting policemen as pigs, he has also posted items on the internet comparing cops to run away slave catchers. When he was recovering from surgery he exacerbated his muscle loss from inactivity by converting to veganism on his own without the supervision of a professional nutritionist. He also hooked up with a teammate's ex which caused locker room issues. He was also aloof and did not interact with teammates like a leader should. He changed drastically as a person when he hooked up with his left wing radical girlfriend Nessa the DJ, he is her puppet.

Besides that his play on the field steadily declined as defenses figured him out. His is a one read wonder who locks on receivers. His legs and threat to run were what his early success were based on. The kneeling just sped up his exit from the NFL. If he didn't kneel by now he would be in RG3's shoes, looking for a 3rd string QB job.

What his peers say doesn't mean crap. NFL players rarely bad mouth their peers. About the only negative things they will say about each other is when someone takes a cheap shot on the field.

Deal.

Who should the Skins bring in as backup quarterback?

I say no to Kaep, for reasons that have nothing to do with police brutality (he's been out of the game for 3+ seasons too long).

I also say no to Bradford because he's old and injury prone.

Who's next?
