A lot of financial jobs there, and it's one of the biggest and best up and coming cities.
Did you know they are building (1st stage almost complete) Dubailand which after the first stage will be twice the size of the entire Disney World park. After it's completely done, it will be 4 times the size.

I have no intrest in going back to the Middle East any time soon.

The Kuwait City Mall is awesome too. It is very luxurious on the inside and is lit up beautifully at night. It basically sit on an Island out in the middle of water. You have to drive over a bridge to get to it.

Honestly, I am impressed with your geography. I have an excellent sense of where countries are, and US Geography, but no one seems to know anything about that.
Dubai also has built what looks like a palm tree out in the middle of the sea. They built luxury homes out there so everyone can have ocean front property!

Yeah, I had no idea about Dubailand. Those home are probably to expensive for either of us. The Saudis and Kuwaitis have alot of money. I was in a recreation center located outside of Camp Doha, that we refered to as the Marble Palace in Kuwait. I went to the snack bar to get a burger and a soda and it costed me the equivalent of $11. That was back in 1998.

Since 2001 soldiers have not been allowed to go off of the compound. I even believe that Doha has been closed. Although I am not completely sure.

They did a special on the construction of Palm Island on the Discovery channel a few months back, it was very good.
Here is a map of the area...the actually made it look like a palm tree in the Arabian Gulf.

By the way, I was looking at real estate on the Palm islands in Dubai, and a 3 bedroom will go for around 1.3 mil.
Totally affordable for those that live in the DC area! :D

I guess, but I will get the full details tommorrow. They called to notify me that they automatically cancelled my card because it had been compromised and are sending me a new one with a letter of explanation. My wife is the one that actually talked to them. It was only that card though so I assume that was all they got.

It's not bad because the card is already cancelled and shredded, and I verified every crecent charge on my card, so I'm fine. I have a good bank.

lol this is completely unrelated but I figured I should revive this thread since no one has posted on it in 2 days.

Like I said in another thread, I'm intending on trading in a whole bunch of stuff towards getting my Xbox360... again.

And for anyone who doesn't know, I'm a girl gamer. 20 years old (21 in November! Yay). My dad started me out on video games since Nintendo 8-bit (which released in 85, before I was even born)

I was looking in my basement to see if I still had anything from my 360 premium set (like the headset and stuff, which I don't) and I see a box just laying there and so I look in the box and heres what I find inside:

Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast and a PS1.

So the first thing that comes to mind is why in the WORLD do I still have these? And I figure my best bet is to add them to the list of things I'm trading in tomorrow. So I look down at my Saturn and notice a disk inside. I open it and what do I find???
