Just found this article today about a rumor Detroit is interested in trading for Haynesworth. I would love to see if there is any validity to this or just offseason journalistic speculation.

Haynesworth to Detroit?
Just speculation at this point, but there are two teams that seem to make the most sense for him and the Lions are one of them.

Whose the other and what kind of compensation do you think we are looking at?

I'd say the Titans. Perhaps a 6th rounder with conditions to raise it to a 5th.

I was hoping 4th was in the realm of possibility. Maybe the Titans and Lions get into a bidding war!

...to Suh's career. Hang out with Albert for awhile and all kinds of bad shit is going to happen to your personality. He is scum.

2 teams that jump out to me are Minnesota & NO; both are 4-3 teams that are/were close to contending. Teams that are looking for that final piece or two might make a deal. The Williams' in Minn. are old, I'm not sure about NO's dt's.

Other than that, I've got no basis for saying they're possible, just think it would make sense.

Think positive. Maybe Suh rubs off on Haynesworth the right way and makes him a little less like the P.O.S. that he is. nawww, who am I kidding?!? :laughing2

With our luck, I'm sure Jim Schwartz would get a lot of out AH.

N.O. has always had DT issues.

"It may be our money, but it's the fans' teams," he said. "And that goes across the board up here [for all the owners on the panel]. It's the fans' team. We have the responsibility to try to do the right thing. And from my perspective, obviously, people have known I'm aggressive in seeking free agents . . . but we're trying to do the right thing."
