Re: Redskins @ Titans Thread
Cousins isn't going anywhere next year. RG3 has to prove he can stay healthy.

Re: Redskins @ Titans Thread
And PW has zero chance of making the team. He is tremendously scheme-limited. We didn't run much of the base offense with him at all. While true that he made some really good athletic plays he did it against scrubadubs. It was fun to watch but won't work once the big kids take the field.

If RG3 stays healthy this year KC will be traded. If he doesn't i can see KC staying around, we have to get value for him while we can. |

I'd just want KC to be a starter (elsewhere), he deserves it. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2 |
Re: Redskins @ Titans Thread
Can someone post some general reactions to the game? I missed the game (I'm out in Kansas City for the weekend), so I'm ridiculously put of the loop right now...

Re: Redskins @ Titans Thread
who's saying we should keep rex? i don't know why people keep repeating that like it's an argument or debate...

I thought the offense looked good especially the first team offense. Cousins looked good. Defense still needs a lot of work it seems. The rookie safeties looked like rookies safeties, neither did anything to really make you confident in them. The corners made a couple of nice plays. There weren't that many starters and it was the preseason so there really wasn't much to go on. The defense was dissapointing though, at least the "first" team D. |
Yeah defense didn't look very good but they also didn't show much either. Rambo got his ankles broke by CJ. Dude still has it

Re: Redskins @ Titans Thread
Why is everyone talking about Rambo being beat one on one in wide open space and not how Orakpo completely messed up?
I could not agree more!
Please release Rex! :D
Rex is more valuable then Pat White think of him as a Asst. QB coach. If he ever sees the field due to injuries to KC and RG then well our season is shot. Pat White won't beat out Rex for that reason above. |

Pat White won't beat out Rex for that reason above.
If we wont win a game with Rex, there really is no reason to keep him. If he is the acting Asst. QB coach, then just make him an Asst. QB coach and save the roster spot for someone who can contribute. |

Thomas got washed up. Orakpo went up field and was too wide, Rambo took a bad angle and missed an open field tackle. All three of those things on one play=58 yard touchdown |

The Good: Cousins played awesome which I think is crucial to come out and play well for confidence, Helu looked good, Morgan and Hankerson played great, and first team Oline looked dominant. On defensive I thought our young corners played well: Amerson, Minnefield and Crawford all had pretty strong games. Another rookie was Brandon Jenkins on the rush that helped collaspe the line on Kerrigan's sack...I tell ya quiet play, big time potential. The Bad: First, Im worried about our Oline depth...McRib, Pashos werent good at all. Compton was meh. Big plays giving up on defense, not cool, but im not worried. Special teams coverage was really bad, but just first game need to improve. |

However, I'd keep him as the 3rd QB for the value he brings in practice preparing for Vick twice a year and other mobile QBs. Romo (to an extent), Rodgers (of course won't come close to AR's arm/accuracy), Kap at SF. If we make the playoffs, we'll likely run into SEA along the way. If Rex is truly valuable as a Coach, make him one. |
